Chapter 11: Take A Hint
Richie headed back to the dungeon the next night to see Eddie again. He had decided not to directly tell Eddie he was in love with him, but rather drop subtle hints through flirting. He saw Eddie in his usual spot and walked over him. "Hey Eds." Richie greeted, smiling at the nickname he had made up for his crush. "Please never call me that again." Eddie replied, even though he secretly loved it. "Aww man! Why not? I think it's cute." Richie pinched his cheek. "Don't do that either!" Eddie rubbed his cheek. "Sorry. You were so cute I couldn't resist." Richie replied. A small blush creeped onto Eddies pale cheeks. "Thank you,Richie." Eddie replied,taking what Richie has said as a compliment. "Only facts,Eddie Spaghetti." Richie replied. "Yknow you don't look too bad yourself." Eddie winked. Richie turned a dark shade of red. "T-Thanks Eddie." he stuttered. "Only facts from me Richie. You should probably head back before your lord finds out you're gone." Eddie kissed his cheek. "Yeah. I-I probably should." Richie replied. "B-Bye Eddie. I'll see you tomorrow." Richie went back to his hut blushing and smiling like a little kid.
