They say when you are chosen to be either an alpha or a beta you should be proud. The reason behind this is so that everyone would adore them. You are never looked down on and are respected throughout the whole village.
All but omegas that is. Omegas are considered the weakest out of the weak and are treated as slaves or property to others. We never get to have a say in the world and are looked down upon. We are only good at sex and reproducing, either with an alpha or beta.
Another thing is that alphas and omegas go through things called ruts and heats. When alphas and omegas go through this, we give into our instincts and push out any rational thoughts we could think of.
Fated pairs or bonds is something I don't believe in. I never had the courage to look more in depth into this since it was just nonsense. But I guess back then it was a big deal. Usually when you bonded with your mate, you basically have a connection between each other, both in mind and spirit.
It's been over a millennia now and nothing good ever comes from being who I am. Omegas are basically extinct now since we were hunted down like animals because of what we were made to do. Alphas now rule all over of what remains of their grand cities and betas are sometimes use as a substitute for us, omegas, as reproductive slaves.
