Don't let me Down

It was end of January. One Direction was promoting their album once again after the short but a happy Christmas Vacation. Everybody was having their best time. They also decided their new tour- Take me Home Tour and all were very excited. All initiatives were taken for the tour to be successful. Tickets were sold in just 1 minute.  They performed in big shows and big stadiums.  
Now it was the time for the brits. This meant they were going to meet their best friend Aditi in the award show. They were all dressed in handsome attire. That was a glamorous day. They went inside the hall room. They were with their bodyguards and manager. This thing frustrated all the boys because the bodyguards always used to be beside them and prevent them to do all those activities which they used to do before when they weren’t famous. They all were seated and were discussing about their first performance on Brits, Aditi came from behind and said-
“Hey boys, how are you? Good? Missed you all a lot.”
“Same here missed you a lot. Congratulations on your big win on the Grammys. You don’t know how honored I am to be such a lady’s friend who is so talented, so beautiful and…”
“Stop Liam… By the way thank you. Don’t talk so loud. People will know about my secret. Hush!”
“Okay as you say my queen”
“Shut up Zayn. Okay now, are you comfortable over here? I have to go now.”
“Do you have a performance tonight?”
“Yes Mr. Styles.”
“Which song?”
“I can’t tell. If I disclose the suspense now, you won’t be thrilled afterwards.”
“You want to get us thrilled.”
“Yes my Lou honey. For now bye.”
“BYE!”
Aditi left the place. She went and had her allotted seat. This time Taylor had also come. She and Taylor both had a duet performance that night. That was the surprise that Aditi wanted to give to Harry. She was quite unaware about the break up as Taylor didn’t tell her anything. Aditi was very busy as she was recording for her 3rd album so she was not known to what happened in between December and January.
After Taylor and Aditi’s performance, Aditi approached to them and with excitement conveyed
“Hey! This was the surprise for you Harry. I knew you will be delighted on seeing your girlfriend on stage with me. So I just want to ask did you proceed further. If you didn’t you should because she is a very interesting and loving girl. I am sure you are going to like her.”
“Aditi! Calm down. I will tell you everything later maybe after the award show.”
As Aditi was conversing with the boys, the boys saw Taylor approaching Aditi. At once she grabbed her friend’s hand and dragged her to her allotted place. Aditi was very surprised.
“Why did you drag me all the way?”
“Because I don’t want you to talk with those boys. Why did you go among them? You were never close to any boy like that before. What happened to you? Are you changing?”
“Cool down. Why are you behaving in such a manner? Now you say what has happened?”
“NOTHING”
Taylor ran across the room towards the washroom. She broke down again. She knew what she was doing was completely wrong but she has to do so. She didn’t want her friend’s heart to break like that.
Aditi followed to the washroom.
“I knew something happened. Are you not going to tell your best friend about your problem?”
“In this whole world, you are only person who thinks about me, except my family. You understand my feelings but still I hurt you, I shout at you. You should be angry upon me. Why don’t you?”
“Stop crying. What happened? Why are you crying? You are a strong lady. Tears don’t look good in your face. Boldness and smirk looks good. Now without crying, tell me what happened?”
“Told you nothing”
“What happened between Harry and you?”
“That boy and I broke up. He is busy with another lady. He looks great so he got another lady.”
“WHAT!!! How? When? Why… Why did he even...”
“The media people are also responsible.”
“Did he cheat you?”
“No. He is a good boy and is of good nature. But he wasn’t meant for me. Leave this.”
“Do you mean he is a womanizer?”
“No. He is a humble boy. I am sad because I didn’t get him as my love. Now please this matter. Let’s move on. Let’s gossip which we do the best.”
Aditi couldn’t believe her ears. The tears in her face made Aditi curious that Harry might have treated her very badly. So she decided not to talk to Harry. The fact was that Taylor wasn’t crying for the break up but Aditi mistook it for the break up in their relationship. She talked to everyone in the group except Harry before leaving the show.
It was 5th May. After 3 months, Aditi came to write with the boys. She greeted everyone except Harry. This time Harry felt that something was wrong. She was ignoring him. He felt bad but didn’t tell anything. He sat quietly while the other boys went to other rooms for writing new songs. He and Aditi were left alone in the group. They were sitting in complete silence. Harry broke the ice and started his conversation.
“Hey, how are you? You are not talking much these days.”
“Not with playboys.”
This statement struck hard. Harry was speechless that Aditi could tell this to him. But he went on
“Oh well. How are you doing? Are you healthy?”
“Can’t you come directly to the cause of this talk?”
“I want to, but you are indirectly speaking hence”
“Listen, you know I thought you different than other boys out there. I thought you were unique but..”
“What but, say, continue?”
“But you are like those playboys who play with women’s heart.”
“With whose heart did I play Madam...”
Now Harry became serious. At first he was just jovial but now he was damn serious.
“As if you don’t know. You know you have broken the heart of the most beautiful maiden in the world. Why? “
“I didn’t…”
“Yes… yes you did. Why did you leave Taylor all alone? Why couldn’t you focus on her? You only told me that a man should always be dedicated to his lady. You know what; you broke my heart as well. I thought you were something else, you were… you were out of this world, something I wondered, dreamt about but you…”
Saying this, she began to cry very badly. Then she ran across the room. Harry sat there in total silent. His face turned red. He was hurt. There was no one in the room but someone was quietly listening to the whole accusation. It was Liam. He was shocked. He and all the other band mates knew that Harry had developed a strong feeling towards Aditi. But when that special person accuses you with the allegations that the person had not committed, it is more than heart breaking. After that day, they never saw Aditi for about a year. That year, actually end of that year, they released their blockbuster album ‘Midnight Memories’ which was the highest sold album of that year. To celebrate this occasion, the boys organized for a special edition for the fans who were so much dedicated to them. That was called ‘1D Day’. This program would be for 7-8 hours long. But before that let me tell you about the event which had taken place before this 1D day. It was the famous and honorable American Music Awards. All the biggest celebrities come together under one roof in that auspicious moment. It was the boys’ first American music awards so they were very much excited. They were also nominated 2 awards. They were also nominated the previous year but could not win anything. They were hoping that this time they might win. Again, there was a problem. They would meet Aditi. Louis was very disappointed with her. He with a sass look instructed the boys-
“Are you crazy? We are now also an artist. Our main concern should be our music. For one or two people we cannot ruin our whole day rather a whole year. All those people are being shits and then…
“Hey everyone. Are you ready? This is a big award event. Don’t mess around.”
“No we won’t Paul. We promise you.”
“You all are whole wide sensation. Eventually, these celebrities are your fans.”-Paul
“That’s amazing.”
“I can see many of them passing us.”
“See that’s Kesha”
“Stop peeping from the tour bus window. Pretend that you are a big star.”
“How can be that even possible? We all are fans. First and foremost we all do music.”
“Stop giving lectures Mr. Malik. Are you ready?”
“Yes my slave Neil.”
“Yes.,, What? You just told me a slave.”
“Yes! Hahaha and you are noticing it after a long time. Hahahahahaha”
“Okay! We are being late. As we get down, cameras will be upon us. Many interviews, many questions, many answers. Let’s go.”
“Daddy Direction is giving us lectures.”
“By the way where is Mr. Styles?”
“He is staring at the mirror preparing his speech. His hair is still a bit left.”
“Oh God! Lou, do fast.”
After 5 minutes all of them were ready for their first American music award. They did a lot of interviews, had a lot of giggles, everything was going very fine. They came across many popular celebrities. They were given one of the first seats. The award show begun. One Direction was given special attention by everybody as they were massive and huge name in the music industry still the boys were so humble and down to Earth. They were rewarded both of the 2 nominations. Most of the audience was for these boys. During a short break, they met Justin Timberlake who was actually fangirling over the boys. He told them about his days when he was in a NSYNC. Although Louis and Zayn didn’t like him at all still they were courteous. After speaking to Justin, they met Rihanna whom they had already introduced to during Video music awards that year itself. It was like 90% of the population present in AMAS had crush on Harry. They all were so polite to Harry. Taylor Swift was the most awarded artist that night along with Aditi.
In after party, all the celebs were enjoying for their success that night. There, Harry met a very pretty friend, Kendall Jenner and introduced her to the whole band. They chatted for some minutes and then she left. She was quite amiable and was eloquent with her words unlike Aditi. They met more celebrities like Fifth Harmony, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and so on.
Suddenly, there was someone who rushed towards the boys. As they all were drunk, they couldn’t make out who that was. on coming closer, they could see that the lady was Aditi. They all became silent.
“Can I talk to you guys?”
“…….”
“Why are you not talking to me?”
“Because you are not doing so.”
“I am very sorry. I just came here to apologize. I don’t want to be friends with you guys because I am not a friend for you. I am a devil. I just want to apologize for my misunderstandings. If you can forgive me Harry, my sin will reduce. You know I will always have the feeling that I committed a crime like other criminals and…”
“Okay. Stop. Misunderstanding does occur and then it gets erased. You are still our friend. But why didn’t you come in our movie premiere? We all felt hurt.”
“I was afraid that you people will forgive me or not”
“OH GOD! You are still merely a child.”
“Shh. softer.”
Harry after listening to all this, was advancing towards the washroom of the hall room.
“He is drunk, he will fall down.”
“You go after him Aditi”
Aditi ran after Harry. Not even a single soul was there in the washroom except Harry and Aditi.
“Wait, you will fall. Let me help you”
“Why? You told me that I am a playboy. Do you help a playboy?”
“I am sorry. I didn’t mean like that. That was just a misunderstanding.”
“Why? You were correct. I literally ruined you..”
“Shh. Don’t talk.”
As the whole atmosphere became silent, Harry came closer to her. She couldn’t understand  what was happening. As she was moving from him, he got nearer to her. He pulled her towards himself.
“Tell me something. Why do I feel pain when you hurt me?”
“I don’t know.”
“I have learnt how to ignore but why can’t I ignore you? You didn’t talk to me for about a year. I saw in different places but you even didn’t wave at me. Am I so bad? Did I hurt you? Why you always take my attention?”
“Then ignore me. I don’t know anything.”
Harry was drunk and the actions done under the influence of a drink has no control. He pulled her tighter and gave a kiss. She couldn’t resist. It was a just a beautiful moment for her. They both didn’t even know what connection do they have for each other and now you know friends don’t kiss.
‘but friends don’t know the way you taste la la la’.
After sometime Aditi took Harry to his place. HE felt asleep. The party was over in the morning and 1d management took the boys back. Aditi also returned with her management and also with the experience of the last night.
At last the friendship became all perfect and misunderstandings had a beautiful break up. And do you know who was watching over the full incident? It was YOU!.
