As soon as she heard it she automatically opened the door. The thing she heard was a gunshot.
The first thing Tyler said, when the door opened, was “shit!”
“What the hell were you trying to do? Shot the door open?”
“Actually! Yes. I wanted out!”
“Than you should have just picked a weapon. You idiot!”
“Even if I did how would you know?”
“There is a camera in there.” He looked around and then shrugged, making him look like even more of an idiot, in Tes’s opinion.
“Anyway. Did you pick one?”
“No. not exactly.”
“Fine! I will pick on e for you. Are you cool with that cus?”
“Ok. I’m good with that.” She looked around at all thee marvelous options. Than she half jumped in the air, while she was reaching for a pair of duel swords.
“Really? I’m not sure those are for me?” murmured Tyler uneasily.
“You’ll be fine. I’ll teach you.” She said in such a tone of voice in witch you could her hope rise, with a smirk crossing her face that made Tyler remember that one family reunion, when they first met.
“ok. I trust you.” As soon as she heard this she collapsed.
“I wonder if I will ever be able to trust people again. I forgot how it feels to put my life in someone else’s hands. I guess that’s want solitude does to a person. I mean I would rather be here than dead right? I wish I could trust him, but not yet. I need to see how he does in battle. If he can protect himself maybe but if not I think he will have to place his life in my hands. I swear it is like I am carrying the world on my shoulders.” Tes’s eyes slowly opened to find Tyler kneeling beside with a worried look on his face. Tes suddenly realized she had passed because she had gotten another power.
“Sorry.” Whispered Tes in a regretful voice.
“Does that happen often?” Tyler looked like he’d just saw Tes die.
“Kind of, but I am fine. It’s ok. Really.”
“That is really weird.” He said waiting to be slapped.
“I know, but that’s my luck I guess. I’m not very normal or lucky. So it’s ok.”
“Why do you think that?”
“You don’t know? Well than, that’s a story for another day. Shall we start training than?”
