When Eryn woke up on the grassy ground, she had no idea where she was.
Had she been out partying last night? She hadn't remembered going to a party. And considering her neat freak of a sister, she was sure she would remember at least cleaning to be able to go out.
But that also wouldn't make any sense had she gone out anyway, because as she pushed herself up and looked around, it appeared she was just sitting in an open park. There were a few benches nearby, and a bridge with a lake running underneath it. It seemed.. normal. Almost too normal. And almost completely abandon, as she seemed to be the only person there.
She stood up and walked over to the river to check her reflection. Her velvet red hair was sprayed in a bed head. Understandable, as she just woke up. She plucked the few pieces of grass out of it and smoothed it down as she continued looking over herself.
She was wearing her black and pink hoodie, and regular bluejeans, and her glasses were still intact. And a quick smell of her hoodie, which smelt like nothing besides morning dew, told her that partying was starkly out of the question.
"Hey!" She heard a girl call, and turned over to see a girl walking to her. The girl wasn't anybody she had met before. She had naturally curly ginger hair, a pink shirt with an orange butterfly on it, and a pleated jean skirt. And... a cat tail and ears??
She shrugged the last part off. She knew a few weird kids from her school that used to wear stuff like that, and figured she was no exception.
"Hey!" The mysterious girl repeated as she came up to her, looking her up and down. It's at this distance, that Eryn saw her weirdly colored golden eyes. Maybe she was a cosplayer?
"Hello!" Eryn smiled at her politely, tucking a piece of her red hair behind her ear. "Uh, Sorry, I have a really stupid question.." She led off with a nervous smile.
"Oh, no worries! What is it?" The girl asked her as her smile grew across her lightly freckled face. Her curly hair swaying in the light, cool wind that had been blowing on them.
"Where am I, exactly?" She asked her as she looked around again, just to make sure she hadn't previously missed any sign or indent that might've given her an idea of her location.
"You're at Willows Bend, why?" The girl asked her. "Can I help you? Are you lost?" The girl offered kindly, her eyebrows scrunching together in slight worry.
"You could definitely say that. By chance, could you help me get home?" She asked. The girl in front of her was skinny, but built. Obviously a dancer, and probably not a threat to her.
"Oh yeah! Whats your address?" The girl inquired. Pulling out what seemed to be a regular touch phone.
"11134 Raven Circle." Eryn listed off from the top of her head. An address she had memorized for years now. It was not the first time she had been lost, and not the first time a stranger would take her home.
The strangers eyes clouded in confusion before looking back at her. "You did say 'Raven Circle' right?" She tried to confirm, and with a nod of a head, plugged it into her phone.
Her face only seemed to become more puzzled. "i-im sorry but... This address doesn't exist.. What city are you from?" The girl asked, and Eryn could've sworn she saw her tail move.
"Oklahoma City." She said simply
"What the fuck is an Oklahoma?" The girl asked her with a bewildered tone, causing Eryn to burst out laughing, covering her mouth with her hand, only to notice the girl seemed completely serious.
