Chapter 1

"Inuyasha look out!!" Kagome screamed. Inuyasha turned around. The long snake like demon rushed up and tackled Inuyasha. Kagome screamed out in fear and Inuyasha dodged the snake demon. "Kagome run away!!" Inuyasha yelled as he came down toward the ground. Kagome hesitated. "No Inuyasha I will stay!" She shouted. Inuyasha landed on the ground and scowled at the demon. "You nasty basterd ruined my date!" He shouted angrily as he ran at the demon. The demon have a ferocious howl as he charged at Inuyasha. Kagome screamed for Inuyasha to stop but Inuyasha paid her no mind. This damn demon ruined his date with Kagome and he was going to pay for it. He called out the swords name as he neared the demon. "Die you basterd!" He yelled as he sliced the demon in half. It exploded and the fight ended. Inuyasha smirked at his victory. "Inuyasha!" Kagome shouted as she ran over to him. He looked over at her running figure and smiled. Kagome was safe again. She smiled as she hugged him. Tears sprang from her eyes as she started to sob. Inuyasha was a bit surprised by her sobbing but soon smiled more and hugged her back. "Inuyasha I was so scared that you would get hurt!" She sobbed. Inuyasha blushed. "Ka....gome?" He question. He shook his head to clear himself of his blush. He put on his cocky attitude and smirked. "Don't worry I'll always win, no reason to be scared Kagome, we did defeated Naraku remember?" He said smiling at the memory. Kagome just nodded. "Yeah, I suppose so...." she mumbled. Inuyasha smiled and looked down at her. She pulled away a little and looked up at him. She leaned up and closed her eyes. Inuyasha leaned his head down as he grabbed her chin with his index finger and thumb. Their lips United in a passionate kiss. When their kiss broke inuyasha's eyes narrowed. Kagome looked at him. "What's wrong Inuyasha?" She asked delicately. He looked at her. "I just thought I smelled Sesshomaru nearby." He said. Kagome giggled and grabbed Inuyasha's hand. "Come on let's get back to the house." She said. Inuyasha blushed and walked with Kagome to their house where they lived. Once there they got ready for bed. "Goodnight Inuyasha." Kagome smiled brightly at him before climbing into the bed and blowing out her lamp. Inuyasha smiled at her sleeping figure. She was so beautiful and she was all his. He finally had his happy ending. "Goodnight Kagome." He whispered before kissing her forehead and getting into bed himself. The next morning Kagome was happily humming as she prepared breakfast. Inuyasha awoke and smiled at his girl making breakfast. He stood up and walked up behind her. He hugged her and put his chin on her shoulder. "Good morning Inuyasha did you sleep well?" She asked as she turned around to face him. He smiled and nodded. "Of course I did I was sleeping next to you." He said. Kagome blushed and smiled. "Good, breakfast will be done in a couple of minutes how about you go wash up for the day." She suggested. His smirked. "Fine but tonight your taking one too!" He said. Kagome blushed profusely and bashed Inuyasha on the head. "Don't be perverted!" She shouted. He glared at her and rubbed his head. "Geez I was just saying you should take one too so you don't get smelly!" He grumbled as he walked away. Kagome gave an exasperated sigh. "That boy never learns." She muttered to herself. Then she smiled. "But that's why I love Inuyasha." She said. After breakfast was made Inuyasha still hasn't come back. "What is taking that pig so long?!" Kagome sighed as she walked to their normal washing spot. There she saw Inuyasha fighting with Sesshomaru. Kagome rolled her eyes and sweat dropped. He couldn't fight with his brother for one day!? "INUYASHA!!!! Sit boy!" She yelled as she stomped toward him. His face smacked into the ground with such force that it left an indent of his body there. Sesshomaru just simply walked away and disappeared. "K-kagome..." Inuyasha groaned as he stood up. Kagome scowled at him. "You're stupoise to be bathing not fighting, stupid!" Kagome scolded. Inuyasha scoffed. "Alright, alright I'm bathing!" He said as he started taking off his top. Kagome just gave a 'hmp' of discontent as she walked away. On her back she was muttering something to herself about inuyasha when all the sudden a demon rushed up behind her. "KAGOME!!!" She heard Inuyasha scream her name. The demon slashed her side and laughed evilly. She fell to her knees. Inuyasha yelled out of anger as he fought with the demon. Kagome fell on her stomach and clutched her stomach. "I-Inu...Yasha..." She whispered before blacking out.
