Kagome woke up to see an unfamiliar face watching her. "Kagome your awake!" A little fox looking boy said. "Who are you!?" She asked. The little boy stopped jumping up from joy and frowned. "You don't remember me!? I'm Shippo!!!" The boy said. Kagome stared at him. "Sorry I don't recall ever meeting you." She said. The boy, Shippo, frowned. "Inuyasha get in here!!" He shouted. Inuyasha came dashing in and looked around. He gasped when he saw Kagome was awake. "Kagome your okay!" He said relieved as he hugged her. She sat there shocked and surprised. "Um excuse me, who are you?" She asked pushing him back. Inuyasha stared at her. "Who am I?? Who am I!? Kagome it's me Inuyasha!!!" He shouted. Kagome flinched and sat there. "Sorry I don't remember you... should I know you two from some where?" She asked looking at them. Shippo tugged on Inuyasha. "Inuyasha! She doesn't remember us! It was the poison it took to much of her memory!" Shippo said as he started crying. Inuyasha shrugged him off. "Kagome! You have to remember me!!! I'm in love with you! Remember?! The shikon jewel! Naraku!! Sango! Miroku!!! Miyoga?! Kirara?! Pleae Kagome remember someone!? Kaede?!" Inuyasha rambled on. Kagome stood up and put on her clothes, not caring about the boys watching her. She then turned to the silent blushing boys. "Sorry, none of those names ring a bell, sorry, anyways I'll be going thank you for everything... however before I leave I do request that you tell me how I got here in the first place, the last thing I remember is a demon hitting me and extreme pain taking over my body. The rest of my mind is a blank. Before and after are complete black." Kagome said, situating her bow as she slung it over her chest and behind her back. Inuyasha stayed silent so Shippo spoke for him. "Well your names Kagome... And we are your friends. We went on a journey together and we all destroyed the shikon jewel and defeated Naraku! And Inuyasha always got angry when Koga sweet talked you. Oh and we can't forget the lecture of a monk, Miroku, Sango's husband too. Anyways yesterday you and Inuyasha were outside when a demon attacked you and released a deadly poison inside your body but lady Kaede healed you and now here you are!!!" Shippo said enthusiastically. Kagome stood there. "Is that true?" She asked. Shippo nodded. She turned to Inuyasha. "While I have no doubt that the part about me being attack by a demon is true I still don't know who you people are. I'm sorry but I just need more proof, I need time need to think this over and recollect myself. When I am ready I will come back and you may explain a few more things to me. Good bye for now." She smiled and walked away. Inuyasha sat there dumbstruck. Shippo cried. Kagome walked out of the little house they had let her heal in and started walking toward the gates of the land. An old lady stopped her before she went through the gates. "Kagome! Your awake?! Where are you going? You still need to rest a bit before you go anywhere!" She scolded. She grabbed kagome and tried pushing her gently back to the house in which Kagome lived with Inuyasha. Kagome shoved Kaede's hand off of her. "Sorry but whoever you are, if I use to know you I don't anymore... now please excuse me." She bowed quickly before dashing off. Once she found a nice clearing she stopped running. What was going on? Who were those people?! Why had she been attacked by that demon? What happened to her memories? Why had those people been so friendly to her, like they knew her from her childhood days... She couldn't remember anything. The only thing she knew for a fact was that she had lost her memories in a demon attack and that her name must be Kagome... Since that's what they all called her. "Kagome where are you!? It's too dangerous out here! Come back and you can stay with us until you figure out what happened to your memories!!" She heard someone shout. It sounded like boy with the white hair and little dog eats. What was his name? Inuyasha? Kagome sighed and disappeared into the forest. She couldn't stay with those people. The people that claimed to be her friends... If they ended up being her actual friends she felt like she would end up being a burden to them. Besides she needed time to think about this. Her whole life was a blank space and she wanted to know why this had happened to her and why that demon had done it!?
