Chapter Eight
*Claire*
"What? How did you know?!"
"Mike told me." Vic looked to the floor.
I was furious so I ran to Mike's room and slapped him hard on the face.
"Ow, what was that for?" He asked, rubbing his cheek.
"I can't believe you told him! I trusted you! But I guess you're just like everyone else! Don't talk to me, we're done being friends!" I spat in his face.
"Claire. Let me explain!" He yelled and grabbed a hold on my wrist.
I yanked it from him and walked out the door.
Leaving Mr. and Mrs. Fuentes wonderless.
********
"Are you hungry?" Marie asked me.
I nodded and she placed a plate of food in front of me.
"Thank you Marie."
"Your welcome sweetie."
I began eating and my phone began ringing.
I let it go to voicemail and guess who it was: Vic.
*Voicemail*
"Hey Claire, it's Vic. I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm the one who forced Mike to tell me. Don't be mad at him. Be mad at me okay?
Please, feel free to come over again so we can sort all this out.
I love you, please don't do anything stupid. Bye."
"I love you too." I mumbled to myself. It was then on that my feelings were confirmed. I love Vic.
*The Next Day*
The bell for lunch rang and I was off to the cafeteria.
I walked up behind Vic and hugged him.
"I already told you to go away Lisa!"
He sounded stressed. "Guess again."
He turned around and he smiled.
"Claire. I'm so so so so so so sorry."
"It's okay Vic."
I turned to Mike and smiled shyly.
"I'm sorry I slapped you."
He pulled me into a tight hug and kissed my forehead like always.
"It's okay, Claire."
I smiled and walked back to Vic.
"Can I talk to you.... in private?" He nodded and we walked out of the lunch room.
"Vic. You were right. I am afraid to be in a relationship with anyone. But I've know you since we were little. So you're not anybody. I'm willing to give this a chance if you want to."
He smiled and pulled me into a kiss.
It was perfect. "I've been waiting a long time to do that." He admitted.
"Well now you can do it whenever you want to, because I'm yours and yours only."
He kissed me again and we walked into the lunch room.
*Lisa*
How dare she have the nerve to be with Vic!? He's mine!
They kissed again and walked back into the cafeteria.
Seeing them together made me sick!
They won't be together long that I'm sure of.
Muah haha haha *cough cough*
