"NOOO!" I yelled as I shot up in bed. I breathed in heavily as I realized it was only just a dream. I looked to my side to see a sleeping Claire.
"Wooh." I breathed out and played down again. I pulled her close to me and held her as I fell back asleep.
Five Years Later
(A/N: Sorry for the huge time skip but I need to end this....)
"Claire, do you want to go to the beach?" I asked. "Yeah. Let's go." She smiled. We stood up from the couch and grabbed our sweaters as it is a bit nippy outside.
I put on my coat and smiled. "Hold on, I need my phone." I said and ran into my room. I grabbed my phone and began digging through my bedside table drawer. Once I found what I was looking for I quickly pocketed it and ran back to Claire.
"Ready?" I asked. "Ready." She smiled.
At the beach
"Today is a beautiful day, right Tone?" Claire asked as she looked up to me. "Yeah, but compared to you it's nothing..." I trailed off looking straight into her eyes. "You're so corny!" She said and shoved me playfully.
"Wanna sit?" She asked. I nodded and she sat on the sand.
Instead of sitting, I got on one knee.
"Claire, these last five years we're the best of my life. You made every day brighter and I know that I want you for the rest of my life. I love you so much and I want to grow old with you. So, you'd you make me the luckiest man in the universe and become Mrs. Tony Perry?"
"Tony.... Of course I'll marry you." She cried and I slipped the ring on her finger. "I love you." "I love you more." I smiled as we kissed.
