I didn't think about how happy I was until the happiness was washed away from me immediately by the cold water of his sister's words. I had been so warm in those hot springs with him. Everything seemed to have been clarified by our confrontation at the library and the three weeks that we had spent basking in the glow of our new relationship, but her words cut through everything and seemed to freeze the water in the hot spring.

"I heard that you are a playboy, and that you flirt around. You are a fuckboy. Now you are going after my brother?"

Surprise didn't even describe what I was feeling. That is one thing I never did. I never slept around even before Yuerong. There was too much of a risk of bribery for that. So I asked her.

"Fuckboy? Who said that?"

"Yan Yeurong"

The water turned cold as I slowly turned to look at the person in the springs next to me. I wished that he didn't still look so beautiful to me, but he did. Even as my body seemed to be slowly freezing, I couldn't ignore how beautiful he looked with the water sparkling on his skin and the droplets of water on his hair looking as though he had been crowned by a water god. But the beauty didn't erase the guilt from his face.

I didn't—no couldn't--hear what he was saying as I got out of the pool. I  walked into the house and away from the warmth—his warmth.
