Chapter three:Hear Attack

Halley woke up and heard a big bang,she ran downstairs,and when she got down there she seen her dad on the ground and she ran to him.

 

“DADDY” “DADDY” she screamed with tears flowing out.

 

He was holding his chest,and immediately she knew what it was,he had a heart attack.

She got her phone out and dialed 911 and they were on there way,but they said to get someone and see if they knew any CPR,she ran across the street.

 

Logan was at the door,he was startled and had a shocked look on.

 

“i need help my dad,he had a heart attack,i called 911 they said to get someone that knows how to do CPR.” she said running out of breathe screaming and crying.

 

Lucky for her his mom was a nurse,so her mom came over and tried but it wasn't helping,finally the ambulance came and they took him to the hospital.She followed behind and logan got in the car with her she didn't say anything,she was wiping tears and speeding and slammed on brakes and screamed really loud and put her head on the steering wheel crying.

 

“here switch spots with me” Logan said with tears in his eyes,he grabbed her shoulders gently and grabbed her waist and moved her where he could fit through.

 

A few minutes later Halley came rushing in crying,Following logan behind her.

 

”ma'am can i help you?” the lady at the desk asked.

 

“yes my dad….he came in here,,i need to know if hes okay….PLEASE TELL ME HES OKAY.” HAlley shouted while crying with mascara all over her cheeks.

 

“whats his name darling.” she asked while looking concerned, “Dave Cardin” she said crying even more.

 

“oh yes,he's fine,now he did have a heart attack,but luckily it wasnt has strong,we were able to put it under control in time,but its gonna be a few hours untill you can see him.” she said patting her on the back.

 

Halley fell to the ground in a squat with her head on her legs crying.Logan got her up and moved her over to the chairs.

 

A Hour later she was finally calm,she said to logan “you know you can go home now,i'm fine and my dads fine.” she said whispering lightly still in shock.

 

“no way,Halley i know i have known you for a day but i can see how much pain you're in and no one should have to go through this stuff alone.” he said looking at her grinning.

 

They sat there and sat there until finally the nurse came over to halley and said “you can come see him now” Halley looked back at logan,he nodded his head.

 

And she went to the room and she seen her dad hooked up to all these machines and cords.she went over to him and started crying.His eyes opened and he was looking at her,he said lightly “halley im fine dont worry” she started crying and whispered “please dont die on me like mom did,i don't wanna lose you too” she said while holding his hand.

 

“i will never” he said whispering too.The nurse came in and checked on him and told her she will have to come back tomorrow in the morning to see him.

She went back into the waiting room and looked at logan,he standed up

“hes fine but i'm coming back tomorrow to see him again,thanks for coming you really didn't have too.” she said “thank you” she said lightly.

 

“no problem,here ill drive home.” he said leading her to the car.

she got out of the car and thanked him again.

 

“im sorry for what happened are you gonna be okay her by yourself?” he asked

“yes,i need sometime by myself.” she lightly hugged him,and he jerked back and hugged her tightly.she smiled a little and waited to go inside she sat on the couch and cried the rest of the night.she could have lost her dad.She had already lost her mom,she was so shocked and scared.
