Reese’s POV
I woke up to a pounding headache and the smell of hot coffee. I sat up and looked around confused; I hadn’t fallen asleep on the couch, had I? The last thing I remembered was peeling off Will’s clothes, but falling asleep before anything actually happened. I slowly walked out of the living room and into the kitchen prepared to be yelled at. As I suspected I wasn’t even halfway through the doorway to the kitchen before I was being screamed at. “God Reese, what were you thinking, going out and drinking with people you didn’t know! You could have been raped!” To my surprise it wasn’t Liam yelling at me, but Blake.
I looked around noticing we were alone in the kitchen before sighing, “You know what I was thinking Blake that I couldn’t stand to live with the guy who broke my heart two years ago. So I’m real sorry if I had you worried about little old me, who “means nothing to you”. So I don’t really understand why you care.” I fired at him.
His eyes became sad and concerned before he responded, “I do care about you Reese, I always have. You just don’t understand why I said those things two years ago. I only want what’s best for you, that is all I ever wanted.”
Now I was angry, not caring was one thing but pretending to care was another. “If you really cared about me and wanted what’s best for me you would of told me you loved me too. I loved you forever Blake, since you kissed me in kindergarten. I was devastated when you rejected me; I didn’t know what to do with myself to stop the hurt, then I found out partying and sleeping around numbs it. I bet you can guess what I have been doing the last two years. When you told me I meant nothing to you Blake, that’s when you gave up any right you had to care about me, so don’t try and do it now.” I yelled as I stomped out of the room and into my bedroom.
I showered quickly and got dressed in skinny jeans and a cute blue V-neck to bring out my eyes. I loosely curled my hair and applied a little makeup before walking back into the kitchen only to be greeted by 3 pairs of eyes on me, two very angry ones, and one pair checking me out. I shot Will a flirtatious smile before turning to Liam and Blake and scowling at them. I poured myself a glass of orange juice as Liam started, “Reese you can’t pull shit like you did yesterday, Blake and I were really worried.”
“Well were you expecting me to move here and suddenly behave? I’m going to be eighteen in two months Liam, you can’t control me.” I said as I drank my juice.
“Honestly Reese I really didn’t think you were going to be this bad, and actually I can you live with me, therefore you follow my rules. Blake and I came up with a few rules that you have to follow to continue living with us. Number one, absolutely no guys are to sleepover,” he said giving Will a pointed look, “Number two, no drinking or going to parties unless we’re going with you. Number three you have to keep your grades up.” He sternly said.
“Whatever,” I returned before turning to Will, “Will you show me around town?” I batted my eyelashes. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Blake suck in a breath.
Will began to blush and spoke, “Uh I can’t.” He cringed
“Why not?” I demanded.
At this Blake spoke up, “Because he’s not allowed to go anywhere alone with you.” He said smiling to himself.
I whipped my head around to face Blake, “Well then I guess we will have to break some rules today,” I Gritted out as I grabbed Will’s hand and dragged him out of the apartment as fast as I could. Not fast enough though because Blake and Liam opened the door just as the elevator doors shut, I smirked at them and waved. This was going to be a fun year.
