Stella regretted many things in life. Asking the guard to place a very sedated Miller next to her was probably her biggest one. The boy kept slamming his head into her chin and she was sure she'd have a bruise by the end of this suicide trip.

The only thing keeping Stella from blowing up on Miller were her two other friends, Monty and Jasper, who were stuck having to stand the whole trip.

Stella had her eyes tight shut and she hummed a lullaby to herself to stay calm. She was about to cry only a few minutes into being in the dropship but knowing that she wasn't alone and her entire squad would die together was somewhat of a comfort.

The blonde let out a groan and opened her eyes as Miller once again slammed into her, but at least he seemed much more conscious now.

Stella then heard a very familiar voice say, "that was the atmosphere"

She whipped her head around to check if she was right and sighed in relief when she saw Clarke. Just as she was about to call out to Clarke, the screens in front of her start to flicker and the Chancellor shows up.

"Prisoners of The Ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable."

Expandable my ass she thought.

Deciding to tune out the rest of the video Stella turns her focus to more entertaining things, such as watching the spacewalker in action. He had once asked her for a spacesuit and paid her with a lot of food rations. She hadn't thought anything of it first but couldn't help but feel proud knowing that she helped accomplish an illegal spacewalk.

The girl let out a small giggle as spacewalker bopped her nose before floating away. She noticed him go towards Clarke but her attention was stolen away as she watched two more boys follow spacewalkers actions.

Clarke was immediately on their case, " Hey you two, stay put if you want to live"

Stella chuckled at that," Still have the tightest ass ever, don't you Clarke" she called out.

Clarke turned around wide-eyed when the dropship jerked violently. Stella grasped Millers' hand tightly and tried not to think about plummeting to her death. The ship continued to jerk around until it went very still.

There was silence in the ship until Monty decided to speak up, "Listen", Stella looked towards him, confused until he continued," No machine hum"

Jasper let out a breathy laugh, " That's a first". And he was right, there was no background noise for the first time in her life, and it had left her feeling oddly out of place.

which is why she immediately unbuckled her belt when she noticed Miller getting up. He helped her up and the two followed the crowd towards the lower level. Not being used to the new gravity, Stella stumbled multiple times before she decided to let Miller go ahead and walk very, very slowly.

When she made her way to spacewalker she placed her hand on his shoulder," It's not your fault, you know". Spacewalker shook his head slightly, " They were following me, I - " He began but Stella was quick to cut him off.

"Cheer up spacewalker, we're on Earth," She comforted with a slight smile.

"The names Finn" He smiles and gets up, " I'm guessing your name isn't actually Ghost"

"Stella Marcellus"

"Alright Stella Marcellus, let's go see if Earth is going to kill us," He says holding out his arm, Stella grabs it and they make their way towards the doors.

As Stella looks out at the sea of people she notices a certain blonde standing in the very front with Bellamy. Why was a guard here?

wanting to know more, Stella grabs Finn's hand and makes her way to the front, next to Miller. Everyone watched as a girl ran up and hugged Bellamy.

Clarke was quick to ruin the moment though, "Hey, where's your wristband"

Once the girl turned around, Stella recognized her as Octavia Blake, "do you mind?" she snapped, "I haven't seen my brother in a year"

This caused an uproar of confused whispers within the crowd, but what shocked Stella had been Octavia's behaviour. Stella didn't know the younger Blake very well, but she had always been very timid and quiet in their Earth skills classes.

Octavia was about to lunge at the kid behind Stella, but Bellamy was quick to hold her back,        " let's give them something else to remember you by", he attempted to calm her.

"Yeah? Like what?", Octavia asked, now interested in his offer.

"Like being the first person on the ground in a hundred years"

Stella's breath hitched as the doors started opening. The first thing she saw was light, it was almost blinding and Stella had to squint to see beyond that. Everything was so green and breathtaking and gorgeous that Stella had stopped breathing. Only when Octavia yelled had Stella been pulled out of her trance.

"we're back bitches!"

The entire ship was filled with cheers as everyone made their way to the ground, the actual fucking ground. Stella took in a large breath of fresh oxygen and let out a small laugh.

Stella had never seen so many colours at once in her entire life, there was so much to look at that Stella ended up malfunctioning and just standing there, taking in the warmth of the sun with the biggest grin ever on her face.
