It is June 15, 1358 and the young warrior is returning from his successful morning hunt. As he walks through the dark, noisy woods with a dead pig on his back, he thinks of the young days he and his father went hunting. As he walks out of the dark woods into to the open plains , the sun momentarily flashes his eyes causing him to block the sunlight with his hands, he drops the pig down.
As he turns around to pick it up he notices something in the distance, down on the grass. It was a brown rusty box, with Baltic symbols on its sides and corners with a lock on the front. He walks towards it. He shakes the box to check if anything is inside. *boom* *boom*, was all that can be heard in the inside of the box, which means something is in their. He carefully looks around if no one is looking or peaking at him in the woods and takes the box and puts it in his litte leather bag, takes the pig back on his shoulder and walks of forward on the rocky path.
As he approaches the village, which was surrounded with giant wooden spikes and watch towers, he is met by a huge sign and the top of the gates, which had the name of the village written, "Kalvinai", and by Pikemen guards armed head to toe with iron armour. The guards approach him.
- Good morning! - says Vytis ,with a huge smile.
- Good morning to you too, we were asked by the chief, your father, to inform you, that he is waiting for you by his house, he has something....important....to tell you. - Says one of the guards with a worried voice.
- What can he possible want from me, that is "important". Did the Teutons raid one of the nearby city? - Says Vytis with confidence.
- We don't know much, about what is so important, that he wants to tell you and as for the Teutons, we will keep a sharp eye on them. - Says one the second guard, holding his one hand on his belt and the other holding the spear.
-Well, then I am off to see him, have a great day. - says Vytis.
The guards open the big wooden gates for him and he enter the crowdy city. As he walks on the pavement covered with stone, he see's, people working, people playing music, kids playing, such harmony and joy, it's like they're preparing for a festival or something. As he is curious why people are so active, one of his friends approach him from over the distance.
- Hey! Vytis! - Shouts one person over the crowd as he approaches Vytis.
It's Žilvinas (Zhilvinas), a short man with brown hair and glasses , holding a leather bag on his left shoulder and a little knife on his write leather jacket pocket. He approaches Vytis and says:
- Hey, my friend, aren't you excited for the festival? - he says with great joy.
Vytis stands their with confusion, and after a moment he remembers:
- Oh yes, It's my fathers birthday. - says Vytis with relief.
- Ay that pig on your shoulder will make a fine meal for the hole festival, heh. - says Žilvinas.
- Oh yeah, the chief wants to tell you someth- . - says Žilvinas as he gets cutoff by Vytis.
- Yes, yes, I know, the guards at the entrance told me already. - says Vytis.
- Damn, I wanted to be the first one to say, I am your friend after all. - says Žilvinas with a sad voice.
Vytis puts his hand on his shoulder and says:
- If there is one person I can trust the most, then it's you. - Says vytis with a joyful voice as he tries to cheer up Žilvinas.
- Heh, I guess. - says Žilvinas with a small smile on his face.
- Ugh...anyway, I was ordered to set up the decorations in the city center, if I don't do them in time I will wont get p-. - Says Žilvinas as someone from the distance with a strict and angry voice cuts him off saying:
