The Plan

Malcolm was watching the campers go about their daily lives. It looked so normal, except for the fact that everyone was wearing a mask and staying six feet apart. He hated how separate they had to be. Everything had changed now and no one knew when it would end. That only made things worse because his cabin hated not knowing. All they could do was hope for this virus to go away.

Four campers had already gotten sick due to the virus, and the Apollo Cabin didn't look like they could handle not immediately being able to heal someone as much as the Athena Cabin hated not knowing anything. Everyone was suffering, but Malcolm and his cabin had a plan.

"Malcolm! I've been looking all over for you. Everything's ready." Annabeth said while looking at a piece of paper in her hands. She seemed very focused, as if putting her attention on anything else might ruin it completely.

"Good. It's almost time for dinner and we need to get this show on the road." Malcolm asked, hoping his plan worked.

Everything cabin was talking loudly, except for Athena's. They were talking hushed and rapidly, hoping no one over heard them and ruined the plan. Just before dinner ended, the cabin silenced completely.

Annabeth gave a look to Percy (who of course was in on the plan, as well as the rest of the seven), and he walked out towards the beach, along with another Athena camper and Leo. Before Chiron could send the campers off to bed, a huge lion ran towards the pavilion. Many of the campers screamed, and some drew weapons, but once everyone was up, the lion disappeared.

Suddenly a soothing voice started singing, and everyone walked towards the beach, hoping to hear it better. Malcolm needed to remind Piper how great she was at that later. For now, he and Annabeth made sure everyone went to the beach. Once they got there, the singing stopped. Everyone shook their head as if they were waking up.

Chairs were lined along the beach, each of them six feet apart. There was a cooler next to all of them and a stuff animal on the other side, each one different. In the front was a giant screen made of what looked like silk. Every once in a while, the water would gently spray the chairs with a little mist. In the very back sat Leo, next to a golden ball with a bunch of wires everywhere. It was perfect.

"Alright people, take a seat and let the movie begin!" Malcolm yelled, herding everyone to the chairs. Everyone rushed to find chairs next to their friends and cabin-mates, excitedly chatting about all this.

"Told you it would be awesome." Annabeth smirked as the Disney intro came on. The chatter lessened as they heard the movie come on, but soon everyone was laughing when they realized it was Hercules.
