Having a shower was a good suggestion, you felt more awake and your hair was finally clean. It felt nice to allow yourself a moment to digest everything that had happened so far, and you exited the bathroom to rejoin Sam and Dean in the library.

"Hey, feeling better?" Dean asked, taking a glance at your new outfit. You had tied the flannel up at the bottom, allowing a bit of your midriff to show. It looked a lot less baggy this way, like you were actually wearing the fabric instead of swimming in it.

"Yeah, that was nice. Water pressure is good." You replied, making a bit of a joke. You laughed internally as you thought; at least the water is good if you're being held here.

"Um, we do have a bit of news, actually, Y/N." Sam said as you slipped back into your seat at the table. You felt a tinge of nerves at the way he approached the news, this didn't sound good. Your mind immediately went to your family and the police checkup that Sam had asked for.

"Lincoln Springs just got back to us, and the house..." He trailed off.

"What?" You asked, pressing for a clear answer.

"They found your dad and your brother." He said, you had a feeling there was more. Found? That wasn't indicative of any positive news. "They were dead upon arrival." He said, looking at you with sympathy.

Your heart felt like it had stopped for a moment. It felt like you had just been crushed under the weight of a boulder, your chest was unable to breathe properly and you felt tears welling up at your eyes. Gritting your teeth, you looked him in the eye as you felt a tear slide down your cheek.

"Was it the demons?" You asked, practically spitting out the name of the creatures that took you. Sam nodded slowly and your vision faded as you stared at the table. It was as if your eyes or your mind were unable to focus on anything.

"Hey, woah woah woah, hey, focus here." Sam was in front of you in an instant, both of his hands on your shoulders. Dean was looking at you with fear and fascination as you focused back on your present surroundings.

The books on the shelves around you were falling off, papers floating in midair around the table. Dean's laptop cord was swirling in a tornado above the table, and you followed it up to the computer itself spinning in midair. You weren't controlling it, your mind felt so foggy, but you managed to focus back in on the room itself and let go of the heavy air that you felt surrounding you. In an instant, everything dropped back to the earth, Dean's laptop smashed against the table releasing some parts as it made the impact.

"Wow, that's just great." He muttered, grabbing the technology and hitting it a couple of times to try and make it work again. He let out a sigh and smile as he saw the screen flash back on.

"I'm sorry, I didn't even realize..." You trailed off, unsure of how to explain what just happened.

"It's okay, it's alright." Sam breathed, sitting back down again. The three of you were silent for a couple of moments before your eyes wandered to the beer that Dean had in front of him.

"You got anything stronger?" You asked, gesturing at his drink. Sam looked at you as Dean smiled a bit.

"Hell yeah we do." He laughed, standing and retrieving a bottle and three glasses from the kitchen. He poured a glass of amber liquid and passed it off to you. You took a small whiff of the fumes coming off of it, it was definitely stronger. You felt your eyes welling up once again as your breath caught in your throat, drinking was definitely the best option you had at the moment. You tossed your head back and took the whole thing in one swig, your throat burning at the sensation, you shuddered at the taste and put the glass back on the table.

"Again." You demanded, not daring to look at either of the men's faces.
