Betty's POV

My life is amazing. Well it was until I messed it all up.

My life has always been pretty simple but great at the same time. I had two parents who adored me and my siblings, we were truly loved, which I am extremely grateful for. I live in a beautiful house with a vivid red door that stood out compare to many others on our street. And I had the greatest best friend I could of ever asked for.

His name was Jughead Jones. Well really it was Forsythe Pentalton Jones III, but he prefers Jughead. He's doesn't really have a social status, he's more of a loner as he likes to put it. He has lovely locks of dark raven hair which he normally covers with his iconic grey wool beanie that had two buttons sewn across the rim that was cut into a crown shape. Jughead has gorgeous olive skin which fixes perfectly with his shining sea blue eyes. He wore mainly black clothing, his usual look was one of his many s tops, black pants, a checkered flannel tied round his waist and his serpent Jacket.
No one really expected us to be even friends. Who would of thought that the perfect girl next door would ever be best friends with a southside serpent. But we've been the best of friends since we were in diapers, and it's all thanks to our mums who were best friends.

I loved my life. I never wanted it to change. But it did, all by one thing.

...

It was a morning like any other, Jughead had knocked on the Cooper's door and was waiting patiently on their porch for the girl with a ponytail to come out.
He was leaning against the red brick wall counting the black ants that scattered past his feet that he tapped repeatedly. The red door creaked open and Betty appeared with a smile across her face as she closed it behind her. "Hey there, I was looking for this boy, he's kind of weird and a loner. Have you seen him?" She said, placing her hands on her hips that were covered by her pink sweater. "Actually, yes I did. He seemed to be looking for a short blonde girl." Jughead smiled, rolling his eyes. Betty placed her hand on his lower back, lightly pushing him down the concrete steps towards the path.

The two friends walked to school with small conversations till they reached the entrance. "I've got this new student to show round. Walk me to the office?" Betty asked, raising her eyebrow at the boy in front of her. Jughead nodded his head and placed his arm gently around her shoulder. "So I was thinking, we could binge watch stranger things round mine tonight. You in?" Jughead said, clearing his throat. As the two walked in sync down the crowded hallway, students would scatter out of their way without a second thought, knowing that Jughead was the leader of a gang. "Totally, as long as we get Pop's first." Betty smiled. They reached the wooden doorway which led to the office, Jughead slung his arm back down and shoved his thumbs into his jean pockets. "I'll see you later, Betts." Jughead chirped, turned on his heel and proceeded to stroll down the hallway.

Betty tightened her slick ponytail that was held up by two of her rosy pink hair ties, before turning the golden metal door knob. She held all of her weight on one foot to push her body lightly against the rigid door, causing it to creak open. "Hello, Miss Cooper." Mrs bell, the old friendly lady who sat behind the rather large desk greeted. Betty curved her lips into a small smile and smoothly jerked her head upwards as a response. "This is Veronica Lodge." The lady yet again spoke, now cleaning her fogged up glasses using the old thin scarf that hung round her neck. Betty fluttered her eyes towards the girl sat in a chair, legs crossed, thumbs rapidly scrolling across her phone screen. "Hi I'm Betty Cooper." She held out her hand as a gesture for the new girl to shake but instead Veronica stood to her feet and embraced Betty in a hug. "Extremely nice to meet you. I'm Veronica but you can call me V." She smiled, the girl pushed her palms against each other and raised her shoulders. "I'll show you around and then you can meet my friends." Betty said already feeling warmth in her heart from the new girl's excitement. Veronica exhaled, letting her arms and shoulders drop back to normal and followed Betty out of the small office.
In Betty's eyes Veronica looked perfect. She had lovely straight black hair that sat loosely on her shoulders. Her eyebrows were flawless, just like all her facial features. Veronica's body was wrapped in a tight black dress, showing her hourglass figure. She really was the most beautifulest girl she had met.
