True love - Lan Xichen x Nie Huaisang Oneshot

Perhaps,our kisses could last us a lifetime

Note:While this is a one shot and a stand alone piece of work,i felt it might be useful for me to say that it is roughly based around an au of mine where Nie Huaisang sleeps around at cloud recesses (He is 18 and Xichen is 19) and a lovestruck Xichen requests him for a night as he doesn't know how to confess and it may be the only way for him to ever have Nie close - a bit out of character i know but well it is an au (Wei Wuxian also does not die in this au and him and wangji get together secretly in their teenage years but that's not really brought up anyway).
this was also used for me to practice emotions behind kisses!

It was Lan Xichen's first kiss,
taken privately,within the quiet quarters of his room and upon his own request.
As such it was more than a planned and agreed upon kiss it was...
a little more than that,
afterall at that time Lan Xichen had found all his courage so that he could request Nie Huaisang for a night.

A late night,one which had Nie Huaisang sneaking around cloud recesses and within his room at a time which he should not have been,
it was a clear sky and a chilly night but Nie Huaisang doesn't recall much of it,as for most of it,he was kept warm and safe within the others embrace.

Yet despite it all the kiss had seemed so untimely,
not wrong,not the slightest but...
neither boys could quite put their finger on what it was,desperation?passion?inexperience?

Nie Huaisang had barely ran his fingers under the sleeves of Lan Xichens robes,playing around as they ran up and down his arm,
barely teased him, barely watched him shiver and bite his lip in self restraint,
as if he was still trying to obey to the rules which his forehead ribbon signified,or perhaps,he just didn't know how to let go,
how to give in to his impure thoughts when he finally had the person of his desires right in front of him.
As such he could have messed around so much,could have utterly destroyed lan Xichen until those pretty lips begged him to stop and to kiss him,too afraid to initiate such an action themselves.

But somehow,no matter how unlikely it seemed that he would see Lan Xichen like this once again,no matter how much he wanted to tease him to the brink,to see every expression he could make for him,to feel the desperation within his touches and tugs and most of all the love and warmth within his voice.
Nie Huaisang quickly gave in to those lips chapped with nerve and the tired eyes whose owner had clearly not received enough sleep,
he had never given in that quickly before and he had at the time justified it to himself as the fact that he was simply being kind to the first jade of lan.
Yet really there was a small space in his heart which told him,assured him that whether he teased him or not, Lan Xichen would show him all his expressions that night
(and he was correct).

he awkwardly pushed the other against the soft mattress and he was sure,if he stared for just a second,he would have lost his breath before he pressed the kiss against the others lips because even that split view he got of the others surprised expression was enough to make his chest heave with a heavy unexplainable emotion.

The kiss was soft,
romantically befitting of a first kiss for Lan Xichen.
he was being treated delicately though not as something fragile,
Nie Huaisang was more than aware of the strength of those trembling arms,afraid to give into their yearning and wrap themselves tightly around his waist,perhaps on the off chance that they might not realise their strength and hurt him in their possessiveness (not that Nie Huaisang would mind,not from Lan Xichen at least).
Lan Xichen gasped,awkward to the new sensation of Nie Huaisang letting his tongue skilfully slip within their chaste kiss,
Lan Xichen fumbled his hands to clutch around the others robes,clearly looking for a way to ground himself to reality within all these new fuzzy feelings that he had never so much as let himself imagine for too long.
