Was one night really all it took for a life to change? It happened in the books, the movies, the fairy tales. Could it actually happen in the real world?
Struggling with such thoughts, Bella, the ochre-and-cream otter, rose out of bed and padded over to her second-story window, still in her golden silk nightgown. She nearly fell back in shock when she saw a figure pass under a nearby streetlamp and pause to look around warily. The curious Bella brushed a strand of her shoulder-length rose-pink hair out of her face and took in every detail that she could, from the curve of the figures breasts underneath a hoodie as dark as the night itself, to the unusual black-and-gray tail peeking out from the back of a pair of dark jeans. Bella opened her window and poked her head out to get a better look, the chill of the night air sending a shiver through her body. Whoever it was beneath the streetlamp looked up at her with a curious expression, pointed vulpine ears twitching through the slots in her hood.
Bella recoiled from the shock of being seen and lost track of the mysterious girl. A few moments later, as she tried to calm her racing heart, an orange and gray face appeared in her window. It looked like a coon, but also looked like a fox. Bella startled and nearly screamed, but the stranger held a finger up to the end of her muzzle. Shh she warned, its okay, Princess. Princess? Wait a minute, there was only one person she let call her Princess Holy shit, Ziya? she prompted, eliciting a nod from the not-so-mysterious stranger.
Nice panties.
What? Oh! Bella realized that her legs were open and quickly snapped them shut, thudding her knees together.
Shh! Come on!
Out there? But Im supposed to-
Cmon Princess, it wasnt easy to track you down. The least you can do is spend a night with me. You said you would if I ever came round.
I did promise...uhh...youre really gonna make me sneak out?
Yep.
Youre despicable.
We both know that you arent the perfect little angel you pretend to be. And I know that you also happen to have a bag packed in case you ever decide to wise up and make a run for it. So you cant say anything.
Ziya was Bellas online friend and had been for years though they had never met in person before. The girls had told each other everything. They perhaps knew a bit too much about each other. Bella sighed, okay, but can I change first? Ziya stepped into the room through the window and sat on Bellas bed and tried to fix the black mess of floof on her head. The otter was still confused about the appearance of her friend as she hadnt even seen pictures of her, though her friend had seen plenty of the otter. Ziya had the face and body of a coon, but her vulpine ears and tail, as well as her fiery orange mask, gave away her mixed heritage. It was definitely a strange combination, but the foxcoon pulled it off quite well. Bella turned her back to the bed and untied her nightgown, letting it fall to the floor. She dug in her drawer for her latest secret purchase, a black lace bra that she had bought in hopes to save for a very special occasion. And if this didnt count, then what did? She went to hook it behind her, but her arms couldnt reach.
Umm...Ziya? she asked. I...uh...need some help. The foxcoon hopped off the bed and padded over to the blushing topless otter, not looking down as she grabbed the bra from her friends hands. No problem, Princess.
Soon after Ziya had the bra hooked securely, Bella heard loud footsteps echo from the stairs. Shit! My uncles coming up! Hide! she warned. Her friend glanced around the room frantically for a hiding spot, golden eyes landing on the bed. In a flash, the foxcoon disappeared beneath the sheets. Bella, thinking equally quickly, closed the still-open window then moved her pillows over Ziya and used it as a headrest, appearing to put more weight on it than she actually was. She pulled out her phone and opened the messaging app that Ziya and her had been using for years, giving herself an excuse for staying up, even though it would lead to a harsher scolding as her uncle did not like her hybrid friend in the slightest.
