Clarke stood at the bar and sipped water from her cup. Day 2. She thought. Ever since Bellamy mentioned that date with Gina she felt like she was carrying extra weight. Was she upset? Yeah, but there is nothing to do about it. If he's happy then let him be. Then the excitement in his eyes hit her again. She let out a small sigh. Last night was difficult for her.
"Good morning." A warm voice said, following with a warm smile- her mother.
"Good morning. How are you feeling?" Clarke asked.
"I'm feeling better, you?"
"I'm... I'm good." Clarke stumbled across her words.
Abby nodded and looked over the crowd of the Mess Hall.
"Bellamy said you tried to leave."
Clarke's gut tensed up.
"Bellamy told you?"
"No. I heard him and Monty talking about it."
Clarke rolled her eyes sarcastically.
"Anyways." Clarke wanted stirred away from that topic.
"I don't have anything to do today, do you have anything?"
"I thought you were a teenager." Abby laughed. "Hang out with your friends."

Clarke sat around a small fire with Octavia, Raven, and Maya. Clarke laughed lightly at a joke Maya made. The scene appeared dim, so Clarke looked up. Sunset. A sharp pain went through her body.
"Oh look the sun is setting." Maya pointed out.
"Doesn't Bellamy have a date with what's her face right now?" Octavia asked.
"Yeah." Clarke said quickly, in a short tone.
"Ooh, is that jealousy I see?" Raven asked.
"What?" Maya asked.
Octavia leaned over to her.
"She loves him." She whispered, loud enough for Clarke to here.
Clarke's cheeks stung red.
"W-What?! No I don't!" She hissed in a hush tone.
Raven laughed quietly, trying not to draw too much attention to them. Then, in the moment, she saw Bellamy and Gina in the corner of her eye. She couldn't help but turn around and look. She let out a silent sigh.
"Damn. He's too blind to see." Raven mumbled.
Clarke turned back around and stared into the fire.
"So you do love him?" Maya asked, which resulted in Octavia elbowing her.
It was silent for a minute.
"Yeah." Clarke nodded. "Yeah I do love him." She said, looking up and smiling weakly.
Silence fell over the four. But the thing was that it was so much more than love. Words just plainly couldn't describe it.

They began to talk again after a bit of silence, making jokes. Then Bellamy and Gina's date ended, and he noticed they were sitting over there and decided to join them.

"Hey guys." Bellamy said, sitting between Maya and Clarke.
"Me and Gina's date when amazing." He smiled.
Octavia looked between Raven and Clarke.
"She is really sweet, and nice." Bellamy nodded.
"Oh yeah?" Raven questioned.
Clarke's eyes constantly moved, from the ground, to the fire, to Raven.
"Oh and she's smart too. She took Trigonometry on the Ark."
Clarke laughed.
"We probably were in the same class." She paused. "That teacher was a bitch." Clarke laughed.
Bellamy laughed a little, then returned talking.
"Anyways, she even volunteered on the Ark."
"Alright you can shut up about your one time date." Octavia laughed.
"Actually we decided to try out dating." Bellamy fired back with a smirk.
Shock washed over them, and Bellamy just sat there looking like a prideful idiot.
"That's.. Great!" Clarke said, looking over at him. "Congrats."
Clarke got up and walked away.
"Shit." Raven whispered.
"Nice going, Bell." Octavia said, getting up.
"What's wrong with Clarke?" He asked, standing up too.
"You're a little more than a friend to her." Maya piped in.
Raven got up too and her and Octavia went to find her.
"In Mount Weather." Maya started.
Bellamy looked over at her.
"She tried escape.. almost burned us all alive. And her reason was because she was trying to get back to you. She wouldn't stay there, safe, knowing that you may be out there in trouble." She explained.
Bellamy shook his head, and then went in the same direction Octavia and Raven went.

"Clarke." Octavia said from down the hallway.
Clarke turned around.
"He didn't know, alright. My brother may be stupid some times, but he wouldn't hurt you on purpose." Octavia said.
Clarke looked down slightly, tears in her eyes.
"Clarke." Another voice called out.
Raven and Octavia looked behind themselves. Bellamy appeared. Octavia rolled her eyes.
"Can we talk in private?" He asked.
Clarke nodded and walked over to him.

Clarke sat in a chair, her face in her hands. Bellamy tried to find the words to help this situation.
"Clarke, I'm sorry.. I didn't know."
He walked over to her, and got down to her level. Clarke looked up and their eyes locked. Clarke let herself wrap her arms around him. Bellamy hugged back. He slowly pulled back and pressed his lips against her's. And Clarke went with it, but only for a moment or two. She pulled back.. overthinking what this situation was. She stood up quickly and walked around him. Bellamy got up to face her. She was just shaking her head, a teardrop on her cheek and more threatening to spill.
"Clarke?" He asked.
"No.." She mumbled.
"What is it?" He said moving closer to her.
"You don't see me more as a friend do you?"
She didn't give him time to respond.
"You spend all of that time talking about Gina.. you wouldn't just drop her that quick."
Bellamy went to say something, but Clarke cut him off again.
"You think that I stayed for you don't you? You only see me as a friend, so you don't want me to leave."
"Well maybe you've never been a friend in my eyes, and I was only with Gina to get over you."
A tear dripped down her face.
"Clarke I know it doesn't seem like it, but I do love you.. I am in love with you."
Clarke nodded slightly.
"I can prove it to you, give me a week and if you don't believe me then, well we'll move on."
"Okay.."
They both joined together again and held each other in their arms.
