Let's get to another movie,shall we ?

Oh and before I start the song i added is safe and sound-Taylor swift which I believe is the perfect song for this movie

Fair haven is a 2016 movie about a guy named james the story is located in a small town
James is a teenager who likes to play piano and wants to continue it and go to college and get a degree in music but his father doesn't like the idea and since james is his only child he wants him to take after their family legacy and stay in the farm

Charlie is his friend and some how along the way they fell for eachother and start a relationship

When his father finds out he sent him to a gay conversion therapy and he will get back when he is "pure " (god I really hate the whole thing )

So when he gets back he is "purified" and no longer gay -or as they say-
So when he see Charlie he is completely closed off and push him out
Which I think is totally understandable he has been at place they kept telling him how wrong he is and he is not normal
But even though he think he forgot about the whole thing and it's in the past somewhere in his subconscious he still loves Charlie cause he has these photos of them together and he looke at them

James tries to go out this girl who is exactly the type everyone expect him to date

Long story short
Once James finally open up to Charlie and talks to him about everything he has been through (god these scenes are so beautiful and cute *-* I loved to see them all happy,lovey dovey*-*)

I know I basically told the whole stroy but I don't want to at least spoil the ending but trust me it's a good one

the chemistry is amazing their love is beautiful and easy to see even when they try to push it away

The story is real
It shows the struggle and what they have been through as a gay teenager in small town
How they been treated differently
Also how sometimes what you want for your life and what your parents want for you is different and at some point you have to choose cause you can't make everyone happy

The whole "gay therapy " is hurtful and scary and unfortunately is still a thing
It's a awful how someone thing putting your own child in a place where all the thing they tell him is " you are not ok ,you are wrong ,you are sick"
and they think is gonna help them ?
Some people can never get over the trauma ,it takes a long time for them to put it behind them and be ok again

If you ever saw anyone going through something or just came out
The best thing you can do is to be there for them ,show them there are some people completely ok with them

So yeah that's it
