About 6 months after the events at Marineford in Dressrosa
It wasn't easy getting where I was today. To meeting this man. I had to basically work my way up from the bottom working at the docks with those toys to being given a chance to work directly under one of the family's executives. These people had known each other for years. Viola being the newest of them yet still being in a relationship with the head of the family, Don Quixote Doflamingo. His name sent chills down my spine with both anticipation and fear at the same time. Soon I'd be meeting him and getting assigned to be someone's assistant basically to my knowledge.

Finally, I'm led to a room with a man dressed all in pink. At first his back is to me but there's no denying it as he beckons me over. This man is the former Celestial Dragon Don Quixote Doflamingo. The man that made me an orphan and lose someone I can't even remember.

The man who made me forget someone dear to me. I don't know how he did it but it's felt like there's been something or someone missing from my life. A nagging feeling that won't go away. Something from that day 8 and a half years ago when King Riku started attacking the people of this kingdom. I never thought I'd actually get to meet the man behind it all.

All I can remember from that day was I was visiting, because it was said that despite being a impoverished place, it was a happy peaceful country. Where people truly cared about each other. I wanted to see a place like that. Up to that point I have had no luck with such things. Even seeing the royal family earlier in the day going through town brought me some joy.

Though seeing that massacre almost hardened my heart more until I got a good look at King Riku passing by. He was crying tears of agony. A kind of tears that were all too familar to me once upon a time. Crying like that didn't make much sense to me at the time. Not in a situation like that. Then the Doflamingo family conviently show up to save the day. There was something fishy about it. Also every time I thought to further investigate something kept me from doing it.

I only figured out I was possibly traveling with someone due to a one legged tin soldier acting as if he knew a woman that clearly didn't know him as she died in his arms. For a little while there was a toy that hung around me but never said a word before it disappeared. Haven't seen it since. After that I infiltrated the family it made a lot more sense and here I am now.

He looks at me as if trying to make sense of why I was there then laughed.
