I helped my father move the boxes to the truck, my mother was inside putting away plates and forks while my brother was still packing up his room. " Thank you my dear " my father said putting the last box of his into the trucks bed. " You're welcome father. Shall I go see what Ethan is doing? " I asked my father looking into one of the boxes mother had set out for neighbors, as she always had before we moved.

" Yes, we wouldn't want to be late to meet the landlord now would we? While you're in there tell your mother to hurry up a little too." I faced him and nodded then headed inside to the kitchen. " Mother, father says to hurry so we don't miss meeting the landlord." She turns and faces me, she smiles gently and nods her head. I walk up stairs and flip the switch to light up the hallway you would swear was from a horror movie, I turn the corner, walking up to Ethan's room and I knock on the door loud enough for him to hear through his music. " Ethan! " I said knocking on the door louder. " Ethan hurry up in there! We're leaving soon! " The music playing loudly stops, I hear footsteps coming tword the door. It unlocks and Ethan's head peers out, " Okay. I'm done in here anyway. Could you help me carry some boxes down to mum's car? " I look at the ground thinking then I look back up at him. " Sure. " I said, he backs up and opens his door fully. I walk in and start helping him with the boxes carrying each one down the stairs carefully so I wouldn't fall. I place the boxes in the truck, we close the tailgate and hop in gently not to squish boxes, mother would be furious. Father started the truck as mother closed her door, soon enough, we were heading 'tword the new place we would soon be calling home. We were all very excited.
