After several apologies and 20 bucks, we finally got there a few minutes before seven .I was about to quickly run inside when he shouted
"Delansy wait, I've got something for you!"
I turned back and saw a purple stripped hoodie with my name in his hands. I stood speechless, admiring the hood and wondering how he got my name it.
"Oh MYGOOOSSSH! Is that for me?!"
"Of course silly, and now it's both your anniversary and early birthday present"
I laughed at the last part; he's not going to let those earphones go for a while.
"You're just stingy"
He flashed a silly grin at me then suggested
"Let me help you with that"
He unzipped it and slowly slipped my arm into a sleeve then to other .It fitted perfectly, I hugged him as he carried me up since he's an inch taller. I thanked him and went inside before I watched him leave through the window. When he left, I ran to my room and changed to my pajamas.
A few minutes later, dad came down with his suitcase and mum dressed up beside him to go to the airport .All of us gathered to say our goodbyes. Dad suddenly remembered something
"Oh, I almost forgot!"
And opened his suitcase, bringing out a golden locket with my name engraved on it .Today should just be my birthday!
"Happy birthday in advance sweetheart!"
"OMG, thank you dad!"
I said as I tightly hugged him .He patted my head and said
"Anytime you need me or miss me, remember I'm always with you, as long as you have this with you"
"I'll guard it with my life"
I saluted like a kid, He laughed a little and kissed my forehead then let go of me. He gave Britney a silver pendant and carried angel to kiss her cheeks which made her giggle. Finally, he hugged my mum and they both walked to the car.

An hour later, mum came back and sat in the living room looking little upset. It's obviously because dad's gone, they hate being apart from each other but they have to. Britney and I comforted her with a hug, she smiled a bit before we let go and went to our rooms. I imagined how the hoodie would look on me before I slept off.
