Before me stood a scene truly baffling and yet horrifying in its nature. If my mission was to find Celine, then mission accomplished, but I wanted to save her, and from the looks of it, that was going to be a little hard to achieve. My body felt paralyzed by the sight of Celine, my Celine, embraced by a guy about our own age. From what I could see he was a little taller than me with a strong but lean build. He had substantial muscles, enough for them to bulge as he gripped Celina around her waist and neck. His jet black hair shone in the dim light coming from the door in which I was standing.

Wait, how could anyone see anything if there had been no light? But my questions were quickly discarded when I saw the state in which Celina was in.

Her jacket had been thrown to the floor by her feet, exposing her pale, delicate shoulders. He made this faint noise, oh God he was kissing her neck. Celine made a slight whimpering sound, but instead of pulling away she gripped her fingers tighter into his hair, sighing against the guy's chest.

Rage boiled inside me, who did this guy think he was, just standing there with Celine so close and intimately. Their bodies were pressed so close together from this angle it seemed as though they were one person with double limbs. However, my imminent rage was followed by a wave of sadness and disappointment. So Celine wasn't really interested in me. In fact, I must have bored her so much she decided to run away and hook up with some random. Still I wasn't going down without a fight.

As I was about to make my move an icy cold sensation swept through my limbs all the way across my chest and up my neck until it reached my face, rendering me mute. Shock, I struggled in vain to speak, what was going on? The same voice inside my head seemed to order my body to stop.

And yet only when I was silent did they finally seem to notice me. The guy's head shot up inhumanly fast and before I knew it I was staring into a pair of azure blue eyes, so deep and mesmerizing I was momentarily lost within them. But I was snapped out of my reverie by the sight of, was it blood, trickling down the side of his mouth. And, were those, no it couldn't I tried to rid myself of these ridiculous suspensions, it couldn't be. But I had to face the truth. Mr blue eyes had fangs.

I stared in horror as he lifted up an alabaster hand to wipe off the sticky blood. Celine's blood. Unwillingly to see it for myself I looked down to the see the origin of the blood and to confirm my suspicions, it was coming from her neck. It couldn't be, this guy, blue eyes, was a vampire.

As if he could read my mind, blue eyes smirked, a predatory grin playing on his blood covered lips. And with that, as though he hadn't just been drinking from her neck, drops her, her body making a small "thunk" noise as it hit the ground. And all the while his eyes were locked with mine. That was it, who was this guy? My anger writhed within me, I felt irrational, reckless and so desperate. It was as if my emotions had doubled in potency, their strength overwhelming my sense. Before I knew it, my vision became so clouded deformed that all I could see were blue eyes. I shifted my weight over my heels and bent my knees. A small voice in my mind was screeching away, trying desperately to stop me. But my rage riddled body wouldn't listen.

With an inhuman cry that escaped from my throat I charged at blue eyes, my mind focused on wiping that smug little grin off his ridiculously handsome face.

Biggest mistake of my life.

It was supernatural. He moved so quickly, his limbs moving so fast I could hear the soft swishing sound in the air. I was pretty strong for my age, so when a cold hard fist made contact with my face my confusion and shock was beyond imaginable. It all became a blur. The pain along my jaw was powerful enough to bring tears to my eyes. I staggered back, my hand instinctively going to check my face, but the jagged feel of my broken bone was too much to handle. He broke my cheek bone!
