(4) Family Meeting

Ondreaz P.O.V

"Thomas claims he can't be scared, but we will see!"
I say into my phones camera as I record myself before walking in through Thomas bedroom door.
I could hear the shower running so I took this time in setting the phone up to capture the moment I finally scare Thomas.
I angled it on-top of his locker that sat beside his bed just a few feet from the bathroom door.

Perfect! I thought to myself grabbing the horrid mask off the bed, As I pulled it over my head I heard the shower turning off and some movement from inside the bathroom.
It won't be long now.
I got myself in position, waiting for Thomas to open the bathroom door!

A few moments passed before I heard the loud chuck that indicated the door was been unlocked and ready for opening.
The room was dead silent for a second before a small creek was made as the door began to open, getting wider.
I decided to take my shot in scaring Thomas before the door opened wide enough for him to noticed me .

"BOOOO"
I screamed out .
It was my instinct to laugh but shock struck me instead .

Shit!!!
That's not Thomas!!
Shit!!

She screamed out in fear dropping towels from her arms, she quickly stumbled backwards back in towards the bathroom.
Shit shit shit.

"Oh my god, I-I'm so sorry, I thought you where Thomas"
My mouth started running without me even thinking, I guess my body did the same thing because I didn't even realise I stepped in towards her until I seen her step back further away from me.
Her face still covered with fear.

" ohh yeah the mask, shit sorry"
God, Ondreaz how stupid are you?? I thought to myself pulling the mask off my head .
She didn't say anything back to me , she just stared at me fear and confusing spread across her face.

" I'm so so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I thought you where Thomas"
I explained again breaking the silence.

She bursted out in a small laughter . He body language easing up.
Her laugh was cute and contagious because before I knew it I was laughing with her.

" it's okay, I understand! It's not your fault....
I'm Hannah by the way, the girl you just scared the life out of "
She giggles at me extending her hand out to shake mine

" it's nice to meet you Hannah , I'm Ondreaz, the moron that just scared the life out of you"
I joked back looking down at her hand I lightly grabbed it in mine .
Her hand is so small and soft.
I looked back up to her face, her smile was memorising and her eyes were warm .
I realised we were still shaking hands for longer than needed, and I quickly dropped my hand from hers.

" so you where trying to scare Thomas Huh...?"
She chucked out, the right side of her lips rising up forming into a smirk, and an amused look flashed in her eyes .

" Ha yeah, he claims he can't be scared. I love a challenge"

" well, you know he has a phobia of maple syrup, right?"

I looked at her confused because did she just say maple syrup ?

"No! Is that actually a thing?"
I laughed out , walking over to the locker beside Thomas bed that my phone sat on, still recording us.
