I turned the keys in my ignition switching the car off before pulling the keys out. I decided to do a quick lipstick check in my mirror, it's a habit of mine I have any time I'm wearing make up I have to check it in my car mirror before I exit. A loud ding caught my attention from my lips, I looked down at my lap where my phone now lite up showing me a message on my lock screen, it was from Thomas,
" Hey I'm here, see you soon 🙂"
I opened my phone showing the message again and quickly responded,
" Be there now ☺️"
I locked my phone and before grabbing my bag off the passenger seat and exiting my car. I threw my bag over my left shoulder and slid my phone into my back pocket of my jeans as I made my way towards the Starbucks I was meeting Thomas at. I haven't seen Thomas in over 2 years since he dumped our old manager Greg and left New York. We tried keeping in touch but it frizzled out . I reached the door of Starbucks and drew in a sharp breath before pushing the door open, I have a slight knot in my stomach that felt like nerves and excitement rolled into one. My eyes darted quickly around the room in search of a familiar face. I guess he spotted me first as my eyes soon seen a smiling Thomas standing up and waving at me in the corner. Wow He hasn't changed in the slightest I thought as I gave him a friendly wave back before making my way towards him.
" Hey" I greeted
"Hey Hannah, it's so good to see you " He said as we embraced in a quick hug before we sat down I noticed my favourite coffee sat on the table in front of me.
" I hope you still like salted caramel frappuccinos with 2 shots" I heard a nervous Thomas say I looked up from the coffee with a disgusted face to be met with a half smiling Thomas.
" No, I hate them now" I answered him back with a plane tone in my voice His smile quickly faded as he shifted in his seat ready to stand up
" oh I'm sorry I should have asked first, I-I'm sorry Hannah, I'll get you something-" He rambled on now standing up, I cut him off by laughing.
" ahh , still the same Jokester I see" Thomas sighed out in relief before taking his seat again.
" I'm sorry I couldn't help myself " I giggled out, picking up the coffee infront of me taking a sip from the straw.
" And Yes, it's still my favourite coffee"

Thomas and myself got lost in conversation, we talking about old memories and he told me about him Co managing a house called The Hype House with loads of younger tic tok influencers. I was quite impressed by what Thomas has achieved over the last 2 years.
" So there's another reason why I wanted to meet up with you today Hannah" Thomas began, I nodded my head in respond to allow him to continue
" so as I mentioned earlier I manage the hype house, well recently one of the co-founders left and that leaves us with a spot left. So I'm currently looking for that spot to be filled by someone who has great potential and a good follow count on tic tok. I know you have great potential when it comes to your work Hannah because I've witnessed it first hand myself, and your tic toks not even 2 weeks old and you already have over 4 million followers. I think you would make a great addition to the house" He continues with a seriously face.
" Wow" Was all I could choke out, I was a bit took back because I wasn't expecting to be offered this opportunity.
"I know it's a lot right now, I'm not asking you for an answer straight away, I know you've to speak to your manager about this , I don't want it to interfere with your career but please think about it, I believe this would also help your career grow and you can also help the hype house grow, it's perfect for both ends Hannah" He told me grabbing my hand from across the table
" I mean wow Thomas, it's a great opportunity it's sounds great I mean id love to but your right, I'll have to speak to Sandra about it his first as my modelling come first. It's just she's left for 2 weeks to go on vacation, I don't know when I'll be speaking to her again"
" Of course, I understand that , there's no big rush with it. Listen why don't you follow me back to the hype house , and I'll introduce you to the family"
" Umm, okay yeah sure"
We stood up grabbing our belongings before heading towards the door to leave .
" So where are you parked ??" Thomas asked holding the door open for me to exit. I quickly slid past him,
" just around back, you??" I pointed in the direction with my thumb over my shoulder
" ohh handy, me too"
We made our way towards the parked cars. " well that's me over there" I called out looking towards my blue BMW

"Damn, that's a nice car Hannah" Thomas said In awe, he took some time admiring my car before he pointed over to his Tesla.
" okay so that's my car, the hype house isn't that far from here, like 20 minutes so just follow me and I'll see you there " He told me as he jogged towards his car .
" okayyy, I'll see you there" I smiled giving him a wave before jumping into my car .
