Another chapter! Yay!
Hope you enjoy.
Oliver's P.O.V
I lay on Elijah's stomach as he scrolled on his phone.
"That one looks like me. And that one. And that one. And that one. Suprise Suprise! That one as well." He laughed. That explained it. John Lauren's fanart.
My phone buzzed in my pocket.
Rich: Can I call u?
Oliver: Ya. Sure.
Rich's face appeared on my screen. From what it looked like, he was in my room. Elijah looked up, before giving Rich finger guns.
"Hey!" Elijah laughed. Rich smiled.
"Hey Elijah. You both good?" Rich asked.
We shrugged. "Yeah. It gets pretty chaotic." I said, grinning. Rich nodded.
"Guessed that much." The nine year old shrugged. I wanted to hug him. God I missed my little brother.
"How's mum and....dad." Rich's grin broke. He sighed.
"Dunno. I've mostly been in here. You don't mind, do you?" He asked.
I smiled softly. "It's fine. I miss you." I said. Rich sighed.
"Miss you too. I gotta go. Bye." He said. Before I could say goodbye, he hung up. Elijah noticed my sad expression.
"You're regretting coming." He stated.
I looked at my fingernails. "I'm not regretting coming on this trip. Just leaving him." I said. Elijah took my hands, kissing them gently.
"He'll be fine. Let's see what Rowan and Belle are doing!" He beamed. I ran after him, skidding across the floor in my miss matched socks.
"NO! Why did you make caramel cake without me!" Belle pouted at her phone. Rowan had their earphones in, typing. Elijah flopped next to Belle.
"They made caramel cake? Can I eat some? Please." He begged, giving the phone his best puppy dog eyes. Belle's dads laughed.
"Don't think we can deliver it to a caravan. It's really yummy though." Her dad, Ben, grinned. Her other dad, Theo, just laughed.
"DAD!" Belle groaned, laying down on the couch. I snorted.
"Caramel cake can burn." I stated. Elijah and Belle looked like I'd just killed their puppies. I mean, I technically, accidentally, threw Belle's puppy, Spot, out the window once. Don't ask.
"Caramel cake is my second reason to exist, thank you very much." Elijah gasped. Belle just glared daggers at me.
"What's the first?" I asked. Elijah smiled.
"You." He smiled, touching my cheek. Belle pretended to gag, before smirking.
"You just hate Caramel Cake because of the fourth grade incident." She smiled deviously. I groaned.
"That is not funny!" I said.
Belle snorted. "It is kinda funny when you sit in my caramel cupcake, soaking your underwear, and you, having no spare pairs, share with Elijah for the rest of the field trip." She said, grinning. Rowan looked up from their phone.
"That's Gay my guys. And gal. And I'm the non-binary pal." They said. We all collectively groaned. We heard that just about twenty times a day. Believe me, it's funny the first time. Two weeks later, not so much. I watched intently as Elijah laughed, taking in his soft auburn curls, his sparkling green eyes. I loved him. I truly loved him.
"I love you." I whispered to him. He kissed me quick.
"I love you too."
Hope you enjoyed!
Have a nice day!
