I thought I would do anything to get out of the Mansion and my royal duties but seeing my family being left behind is crushing to me.

The ship I am on, leaves the landing pad and I watch as the Mansion I grew up in get smaller until we go into lightspeed. The stars around the ship make it seems as if we are in a sea of blue. My family's faces pop up in my head, Caladan's sad and lonely face, Mom's disapproving expression and Dad's overwhelmed aura. Even this far away it is as if I can still feel their emotions.

It is haunting in a way.

Will it always be like this? when I am on the throne, will I feel overwhelmed like my father?

I shake my head to rid of the worried thoughts, deciding to think of something else. Coruscant. I haven't been there for years yet I still remember the sleepless nights Caladan and I had, just watching the open and closed cockpit speeders out the windows and balcony.

We would watch them as if they were foreign to us. As young kids ages 5 to 15 we would go on trips to Coruscant and other planets for business deals and politics.

I recently stopped going because my mother has been preparing my birthday for years now. There was always something in the way, dress fitting, decorations, etc. Come to think of it, the trips were very informative and useful, I think that is why mother never wanted me to go with.

"Y/n?" Obi-wan enters the empty room I am in, interrupting me from my thoughts.

"I'm sorry to interrupt."

I shake my head, "your fine, I wasn't doing anything anyways."

Obi-wan gives me a nod and takes a seat close to me on the metal floor.

The room I chose to sit in is cold and dark. It's probably used for storage. There's nothing in the room, just two metal boxes. One if which I have taken a seat on.

"You seem sad." Obi-wan comments as he watches moving space out the one window.

I sigh, "not really sad..Just confused."

Obi-wan gives me a glance and then a reassuring look. He takes something off his belt.

"It is dark in here, maybe something to cheer up the mood."

He holds up a glass filled with liquid. The liquid is neon purple and glows in the dark, making the room almost fully viewable.

Obi-wan hands it to me carefully. "It is sealed with a special type of glass so it shouldn't break even if you drop it. Keep it, maybe it could come in handy one day."

I give him a small smile as I take it gently. "Thank you, Master Jedi. Umm.."

I pause for a moment, thinking over what I am to say. "Is Jar Jar and Captain Typho on this ship?"

Obi-wan nods, "yes, I can fetch them if you like." I give a silent nod and with that Obi-wan leaves the room with me still sitting on the box.

After waiting for what seems like forever, Jar Jar opened the door enthusiastically. He makes his way over to the box next to me and happily takes a seat. Moments later, captain Typho and Anakin walk in and close the door behind them. The young Padawan leans against the wall next to the door while captain Typho walks to me.

The captain bows, "It is good to see you again your grace."

I get up quickly, leaving the glowing stick on my box and hug him. Jar Jar is in his normal 'Jar Jar land' but Anakin seems as suprised as the captain is. I hug Typho tightly. He is the uncle figure in my life, except I haven't seen him in at least 8 years.

After a few moments captain Typho hugs me back kindly.

"I missed you, Captain. It has been so different in the manor without you. Never mind the castle and father's mood swings." I ramble as I let him go and smile, eventually turning to the attentionless Gungan. "I missed you too, Jar Jar! After you left to go back to Naboo, Caladan couldn't stop talking about you."

Jar Jar gasps, "Yousa really sure? Caladan talked abouta me?" He asks with glittering eyes and his hand to his heart.

"I'm sure Cal and I talked about you and our adventures so much that the Queen had to shut us up." I smile wider as Jar Jar adopts an honored face.

Captain raises an eyebrow, which I catch out of the corner of my eye. "It is true! You remeber how much trouble us three got in when we were caught." I defend.

Captain Typho laughs, "You mean when they would get caught, the young princess was too stealthy to be caught by anyone. Even me."

I drop my smile as I replay my memories of before my father was ambushed. He was all happy and nice back then, but nothing lasts. After he was taken hostage and returned by captain Typho, he was never the same again to anyone but me. Even then.. he still showed me the cold shoulder most of the time.

"Is something wrong?" Anakin speaks up. I jolt as I see him a few feet closer. Of course he can tell something is bothering me.

He's a Jedi.
