Nevaeh POV-
it was my birthday I was officially turning 19 years old today.I was currently getting dressed because it starts really soon.

I was upset Kentrell wasn't going to be able to make it but whatever.

but Nova did mention that they had a surprise for me.

Nova and Jordyn we're throwing me a big ass party
in Sherman Oaks (California).

I originally wasn't even going to celebrate my birthday but Nova and Jordyn just had to be extra.

I was kinda down today because this would be my second time spending my birthday without my mom.

she went on a business trip to Vegas and got in an car accident.

sadly, she didn't survive it was a hit and run and she wasn't the only one in the accident.

my dad used to be in my life but ever since my mom passed away he's been drinking a lot and one day he left and never came back like he was the only one hurting.

Nova and I were hurting as well.

so ever since then I've really been taking care of myself.

I heard loud knocking on my room door.

"WHO THE FUCK IS KNOCKING ON MY DAMN DOOR LIKE-

I opened it and it revealed dent face Kentrell.

before he could even say anything I jumped on him and hugged him.

"I t-thought you weren't coming"

"yeah you thought ma"he said hugging me back really tight.

"like your surprise"Nova said walking in.

"okay Wanda"she said trying to be funny.

"now can I finish getting dressed"I turned towards Kentrell.

"nah I wanna see"he smirked.

we walked downstairs and it was hella people downstairs some people were already drunk.

I even noticed the NBA gang here as well.

I hugged everyone then walked off and around to talk to some of my other friends.

I could feel someone staring at me really hard but I waved it off because it could've just been Kentrell.
