He promised it would be forever and always.

Sitting on the worn bench, hard and cold, it made her shiver with longing. The snow was falling slowly. Her eyes were focused on the mirror in her hand.

It was supposed to be a reminder of how beautiful she was. Those were his exact words.

But that didn't stop the car that hit him.

She felt tears slowly falling from her eyes.

She grimly smiled. She promised him she would not cry for him.

She laid her head on the side of their bench...

The familiar wood felt like his shoulder.
