A/N: It was English class, we were talking about debates, and my best friend wanted me to write a drabble about a couple with a child. Screw me.
Somehow, their mock debate wasn't funny anymore.
"THAT the child of a divorced couple be in the jurisdiction of the mother."
It was a stupid topic. It was provoking.
It didn't help that they were only married for months. The joy of calling her his wife hasn't worn off yet.
But somehow, it got to the point where they were shouting. To the point where their one-year-old girl was crying on the other room.
To the point where... he can see her resolve crumbling in her eyes.
---
She needed to know the truth.
"I will always love you."
