"Good morning, everyone!"
The staff turned their heads towards the door and bowed, greeting their boss politely.
"Good morning, Unnie," greeted the manager who quickly went up to the young woman's side. "How was your trip?"
"Fun but tiring," Wendy smiled as she checked everything in the café.
"Do you want to review the sales from last week?" She followed the woman around and to the back of the establishment.
"Sure. How were the sales of the new drinks and food?" Wendy asked as she took a seat in the office.
"The new pasta dishes are selling well. We even ran out of sauce a few times last week."
She smiled. "Good."
"But there seems to be little interest for the finger food and the drinks." Jisoo checked the tablet she was holding.
"Ah too bad. Well, it's only been a week. Let's hope sales improve. Anything else?" Wendy leaned back after turning her computer on.
"There were some problems with the bubble tea shop so I sent Suho over to help when we could spare him," reported Jisoo.
Wendy nodded. "Okay. I'll drop by the shop later."
"That's it, Unnie. The sales and stock reports from both the café and the shop are all in the system."
"Thanks." Wendy paused. "How did Suho do over there?"
"Pretty well according to the staff. They kept asking for him to just move there permanently." Jisoo smiled.
Wendy furrowed her brows. "Hm... Okay. Can you send him here after this?"
"Sure. Anything else?"
"That's it for now. Thank you for taking care of things for me while I'm away."
"No problem, Unnie." Jisoo bowed and left the office.
A young man knocked on the open door soon after. "Excuse me, Noona? Jisoo noona told me you wanted to see me."
"Yep. Come in, Suho. Have a seat." Wendy gestured to one of the chairs across from her.
The young man hesitantly sat down.
"How do you like working here so far?" Wendy leaned forward, clasping her hands on the desk.
"Um... I like it, so far..." He fidgeted nervously, looking at Wendy for a second before looking down at his hands.
"Relax, Suho." Wendy smiled, noticing the nervous behavior. "You didn't do anything wrong."
"Oh. Whew." He exhaled.
"I heard you've been helping out over at the new shop."
He nodded.
"How was it?"
"They're just overwhelmed because they're new and quite shorthanded. It's going great there, Noona. There were so many people queuing up after lunch and before dinner." He smiled. "At this rate, you'd need to expand or open another store soon."
