i'll accompany this picture with my hogwarts letter story which two whole people asked for
when i was eleven, i got a hogwarts letter in my mailbox, with my full name on it and everything. i obviously knew that it wasn't real, so i suspected my parents, but they seemed just as shocked that it was there and always denied it. my friend had gotten the same one a few months prior on her birthday, so we always thought that either our parents were lying or some good samaritan who wanted our dreams to come true delivered them to us. but it was still a little sketchy because the letters had our names on them and came on our birthday exactly and everything. anyway, i forgot about this whole situation until literally last year, five years after the incident, and i was talking about it to my friend and she informed me that it was her the whole time! she delivered the letter to my mailbox ( and her own, i guess? ) and pretended to not know where it came from :')
