Alex was sitting at a table in the back of the library after school. It was quiet there. Peaceful. He pulled out his phone and plugged in his headphones. He looked left, then right, then again, making sure no one was looking at his phone, he proceeded to watch Sailor Moon. He knew the librarian wouldn't bother him, he was just waiting for the DND club to start anyways. He knew Brian would be late, and he was waiting for two other players. One Tim Wright and one Jay Merrick. He didn't recognize the names but they were the only other two people to sign up. At least it wouldn't just be Brian. He was only there for the snacks anyways.

At this point it's been around... 30 minutes, he had gotten through one and maybe a half episodes before another kid walked in. He was short compared to Alex, and had an army green hat on. "Uhhh am I in the right place? T-this is for the DND club right?" The kid quickly stuttered out. He held a couple binders and books close to his chest. "Uh yeah. Name please?" Alex responded, a little nervous. He quickly shut off his phone before the new kid could notice what he was watching. "Jay. Uh... Jay Merrick," he blurted out.

"Hm.. so this is Jay..." Alex thought to himself, staring at the boy. He didn't realize how long he had been observing Jay until he had said "u-um, what's wrong? Is there something on my face?" Jay quickly wiped his sleeve on his face to try and wipe off any non-existent residue. "No, no your fine, uh, Jay was it?" Alex already knew Jay's name, it had been engraved in his head the moment he heard it come out of Jay's mouth. But he didn't want to come off too standoffish. "Take a seat!" Alex enthusiastically offered to Jay. He sat and Alex looked down immediately. Alex sat there waiting for everyone else to join, staring at Jay until he couldn't remember the time.
