You sighed. You're boyfriend, Mingi, was supposed to be back from practice by now. You checked your phone for the 5th time in the past 10 minutes. Still nothing.
After waiting for a few more minutes you headed up to your room in defeat. Tonight was supposed to be your date night, you had gotten ready to go out and everything. You looked at yourself in the mirror and sighed again. Whatever. He was probably working really hard and didn't have time for you tonight.
You began to rub your makeup off, disappointed that it went to waste.
"I wouldn't wash it all off if I were you." You whipped your head around, surprised that someone was there. You breathed a sigh of relief.
"Mingi, you're here!"
"Of course I am. I wouldn't miss our date night." He said, smirking. You beamed. You were so happy he could make it. He had been working late most nights recently and you didn't get to see him as much as you'd like.
Your boyfriend made his way across the room towards you, hugging you from behind and taking the makeup wipes out of your grip. "Come on, let's go." He said, grabbing you by the hand and spinning you around so that now you faced him.
"But my makeup-"
"Is unnecessary. You look beautiful without it." You blushed, grateful to have such an amazing boyfriend.
"Okay." You replied, letting him take you by the hand and lead you out of the house. "Where are we going?" You asked as you hopped in the passenger seat of his car.
"That's up to you, babe." Mingi said, looking at you and smiling cutely. You smiled too.
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
"Okay..." You said. You thought about what you wanted to do. You didn't want to go anywhere where a lot of people would see you without makeup. It was also already getting dark so you had to take that into consideration too. "We could go see a movie." You suggested.
"Okay." Mingi said, beaming. You smiled too and he started the car.
You wondered what movies they were showing. You hadn't been to see a movie in awhile and you had no idea what was out. You glanced over at your boyfriend, trying to be subtle so that he wouldn't catch you looking.
God, he's handsome, you thought. All he was doing was driving, and yet, he looked perfect. You really had missed him lately. His band was releasing a new album soon and they had been working almost constantly; you knew he must be tired.
