of course... it's a monday. why on earth does it have to be a monday again? why do monday's even exist at this point? nobody on this planet enjoys them unless they don't have to go to school or work, and have the option of sitting home while doing absolutely nothing.
but unfortunately that's not me. i have school... again. it's already spring, but that still means one more month of school, which i can already tell is going to go by slow.
after getting up out of bed and rubbing my eyes, i head into the bathroom, looking into the mirror. i really shouldn't have stayed up late trying to finish that essay. i look like i was hit by a bus.
after using the bathroom and walking out into my room, i take a look at my closet, trying to find something to get dressed into. after countless minutes of me half asleep and looking, i find what i want to wear, going back into the bathroom, and putting it on.
in the blink of an eye i am getting into my car, driving to school. i had a little bit of coffee so i'm not falling asleep on the road, but i definitely was still sleepy. i had only put on a small bit of makeup, knowing i would most likely be rubbing my eyes a bit, and my hair is in a messy bun because i was too lazy to actually do anything with it.
after getting out of the car and grabbing my backpack, i head inside through the front door. i walk down to my hallway, trying to go straight to my locker until-
"hey, y/n-" the girl starts. "wait, are you sick?" she asks me, moving her hair out of her face.
"no, just exhausted. i stayed up until four trying to finish that essay. i was so stuck on it." i tell her, rubbing the outer corner of my eye.
"you should have just texted me. i would have sent a screenshot of mine to you."
"and why would i want to copy off of your paper? i'm trying to actually pass this class, ashley." i slightly laugh, holding onto the strap of my backpack. she rolls her eyes, laughing as well.
"whatever. go to your locker, class is already in five minutes. see yah." she tells me. i nod, going to my locker which is just down the hall from where we were standing.

as i sit in the back of my first class, calculus, i hold my paper out as the teacher collects them all, going to and down our desks to do so. as i am just sitting, leaned back in my chair, the male in front of me turns around.
"how is little miss popular doing today?" haechan asks me, a smile on his lips. i roll my eyes, slightly smiling.
"you know i hate it when you call me that."
"that's why i do it."
"i'm not even popular. even you're more popular than me... and that's saying something." i laugh, playing with my wooden pencil.
