Uhh...camp

Courtney's POV

"Why do I have to go to this place anyway mom? It's been like 3 years since I've been there." I complained. "Well because me and your father want some alone time and to get you out in the world instead of in your phone." Courtney's mom said driving.

My mom is making me go to summer camp. But not just any summer camp it's one that last's instead of your normal 2 week camp it's a 2 month camp. I want so bad to just find a way to not go but my mom really wants me to go and ever since what happened to Tommy I want to make her happy. So I went.

Flashback (what happened to Tommy her little brother)

"Hey mom can I go outside?" Tommy asked. That's the question the question I hate asking and the question I wish I said no to...

"Hey mom left like and hour ago so it's just me." I said. "Oh ok well then can I go outside Courtney?". Tommy asked excited. "Sure bud I'll be outside soon gotta clean up a little first." I said. I wish I would've just went outside with him.

"Ball...Ball where are you?" Tommy said scourging through the garage. "Oh there you are ball." Tommy said with excitement. He ran out to the front lawn and started playing soccer. Tommy kicks the ball towards the street. "Goal!" Tommy yelled. "Oh no my ball!"Tommy yelled. Tommy ran out into the street not knowing there was a car coming.

I finally get done cleaning and came out to see Tommy standing in the road for a split second then on the ground. I rushed over to him. He had cuts all over him and to me it didn't look to bad at least that's what I hoped. But he wasn't breathing. I start to panic and I felt tears rolling down my face. I look over and see the person who was driving the car to be crying to and on the phone with 911.

The ambulance got here I'm calling my mom telling her little boy is in the hospital because of me I feel more tears rolling down my face.

Now on that day at 4:50 pm Tommy Miller past away at 8 years old.

I never want to hear those words again...

Back to present time

Courtneys POV

"Hey Courtney wake up we're here!" My mom said thinking that that would make me happy. "Uhh. I'm up I'm up." I moaned sitting up and getting out the car. I was walking with my head down at first still partly asleep then I looked up. "Whoa this place has changed." I said shocked they had better cabins better canoes better everything maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. "It sure has change." I heard behind me turning around. "Hi I'm Olivia what's your name?" Olivia asked with her hand out. "I'm Courtney nice to meet you" I said shaking her hand. "I have a feeling we are going to be best friends". she said. And oddly enough I did to.
