Damiens POV

"Alright dad I'm going to my summer job see you in 2 weeks!" I yelled just about to leave. "Yea, yea whatever. Listen I don't care what Marcus said I'm doing it!" My dad said uninterested in me and walking away. "Love you to dad" I said disappointed.

Yep that's my dad for ya. Working alcoholic dad who really only cares about himself and his job. So it's really up to me to keep this family together. I mean after mom left it's been hard but we get through it. And I know what you thinking if my dad is so into this job it must pay well and he must do it because he loves his kids. Well yeah your wrong his job pays like crap. I have to get this job to pay the bills, and keep a look out for my little sis.

My little sis means everything to me and all I want to do is keep her safe. It's what I've been doing for well all my life. I have no clue what I would do without that knuckle head. But, hey! This stays between me and you, from now on, I said nothing. Kapeesh👌.

Courtney's POV

  Olivia is showing me to her cabin which happens to be mine as well. You know she's really nice I'm really glad I have a friend. I mean who knows maybe summer camp won't be so bad after all.

"Ok and this is your bed." Olivia said pointing to a bottom bunk. "Sweet." I said. "Hey do you wanna go down to the lake?" Olivia said pointing out the window to the lake. "Sure." I said. We walked out of our cabin and to the lake. We sat down on the dock and put are feet in there were a couple people swimming but most of the people are probably unpacking.

So me and Olivia were just talking when we saw straight up hotness. It was Shayne Topp and Sam Lerner the 2 hottest guys in school and they were coming towards us!

"Hey ladies." Shayne said. "Sup." I said trying not to sound interested in him. "Hey Sam." Olivia said in a shy voice. "Hi Olivia." Sam said sorta shy and happy. "So uh you girls wanna go for a swim." Shayne said taking his shirt of and tossing it to me. "No were good." I said taking the shirt off me like it was dirty underwear. I looked up and saw him I was so attracted to him. "Playing hard to get I like it." He said with confidence and a smile. I blushed. He knelt down and said, " Why don't you and me go get something to eat."  He said Holding his hand out. I looked at Olivia sh nodded. "Sure I guess." I said blushing. "Cool it's a date." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me up. Was I really going on a date with the Shayne Topp, holy crap my mom was right summer camp was a great idea.

(The next day)
Courtneys POV

I was wrong, I was so so so wrong. Summer camp sucks! And so does Shayne Topp!

(Flash back to courtney and shaynes date)

We sat down at a table in the back of the cafeteria. I was so excited. We sat facing each other and I just couldn't help but stare into his beautiful ocean blue eyes. He grabbed my hand and gave me this look that gave me goosebumps. "You look really pretty." Shayne said with the most genuine smile. "Aw thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." I said with the goofiest smile. "Yeah to bad you got food on your face." Shayne said. "What?!" I said embarrassed and reaching for my phone to look in a mirror. "No I don't." I said confused. "Well you do now!" Shayne yelled while him and his friends drenched me in spaghetti and meatballs. Some random counselor came over he looked like he was coming to help me, but I ignored him and ran away with a tear rolling down my face.

(Back to reality)

Uhh Shayne Topp is the worst. I just hope Olivia had a better date than me.

"Courtney! You are not going to believe how great my date was! And woah what's up with the crazy hair do?" Olivia asked. "First off I can't wait to here what happened and Shayne happened to my hair. He set me up and through spaghetti at me." I said sadly. "Hey forget about him he's just a dumb popular kid who doesn't know what he's missing." Olivia said smiling. "Hey don't let Shayne ruin your whole trip." Olivia said putting her hand on my shoulder and smiling. "You know what your write I won't let some jerk ruin my amazing trip, even though I thought this would be my summer camp romance, I guess that's stuff really only happens in the movies. Anyway how was your date with Sam?" I asked. "Oh it was just amazing! He held my hand and had the most breathe taking smile. Uhh he's so cute!" Olivia said totally fan girling. "Well that's good I'm so happy for you. Not to ruin the mood but I need help getting this spaghetti out of my hair." I said pointing to my spaghetti infested hair. "Oh yeah we got to fix that, you look look like a knock off Medusa." Olivia said making us both laugh. Uhh she's such an amazing bestie!
