I can't believe nobody told me he was still alive! Did they know how much it would mean to me if I knew? Did they know how badly that screwed with my head? Of course they did, they all knew about it but they still did it just because they thought I couldn't keep my mouth shut if I knew. I was fairly insulted by the whole gesture, but I couldn't help but be relieved that Avdol was still alive. It took a huge weight off my shoulders and I couldn't help but enjoy every bit of it, even if that meant I was to be embarrassed and insulted. I sigh and try to let go of how I feel. Not an easy task for someone like me, but it might just be doable under these circumstances.

Come to think of it, I should just be happy with my surroundings. I was in a submarine, for crying out loud! How many people could honestly say that they and the boys went to Egypt in a submarine after finding out their favorite homie was still alive? Not many, that's for sure. I sighed to myself and found my eyes never left a single spot, or rather a person, that being Avdol. He seemed to be fairly happy with the current situation as he piloted the sub, not paying much attention to the rest of us. I could see him starting to become rather annoyed with Joseph as he pestered him and begged him to try to pilot the sub and felt a smile creep onto my face. He was so... I feel a tap on my shoulder, drawing me out of my entranced-like state. I look over and see Kakyoin leaning on the chair I was in, giving me a snarky look.

"Are you gonna tell him?" He asks quietly. I give him a confused look to which he just sighs. "Are you meaning to tell me you don't like him?" My mind only became more and more confused with every word he spoke, not understanding what he was trying to get at.

"What?" I ask, my voice full of bewilderment, Kakyoin gives me a look of disbelief as I stare at him. He sighs and rubs his face.

"Dude, you're telling me you only longingly stare at him for long periods of time because you're his friend?" He asks. I start to piece together the puzzle in my head and feel heat rush to my face. He thought I liked Avdol, didn't he? Oh boy. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. He chuckles at my embarrassment and gives me a wide smile.

"Uh... What are you getting at?" I ask. I had to be sure before I just yelled out an answer to whatever bullshit questions he was spewing. He sighs and rolls his eyes before pointing to Avdol.

"You like the shit out of him. Literally everyone knows." He starts, curling his finger in his hair. "Well, everyone but you and him." My face turns an even brighter shade of red as I look down to my feet. Now that I think about it, I did always find myself oddly drawn to him for whatever reason I had made up. Did I like him or was he just my all-time favorite homie who also happened to have a nice a- yeah I liked him. How do I answer Kakyoin though? He already knew, so it wouldn't hurt if I just outright said it, but I didn't really want to say it.

"I... Uh... Okay?" I say, still very red and embarrassed. Kakyoin laughs and motions Jotaro over, who smirks lightly. Oh boy, this was gonna be a ride. Jotaro stops by Kakyoin's side and wraps his arm around him, slightly leaning on him.

"We were right!" Kakyoin laughs and wraps his arm around Jotaro's waist, who chuckles slightly. "Hey Joseph!" The old man in the front of the ship turns to Kakyoin and I feel like curling myself up into a little ball. "We were right!" Joseph chuckles and looks at me with a smile.

"Finally admitting to it? Holy shit, didn't think I would live to see this day!" He says, attracting the attention of Avdol, who looked back at us, seemingly very confused. Oh god, I think I'm gonna throw up if they tell him. "Eyes on the roa- ocean, Avdol!" Joseph complains. "Unless you're gonna let me drive, that is." Avdol groans and seems to finally give in to Joseph's begging.

"Fine, you can drive. I needed a break anyway." He leaves the wheel and controls to Joseph, who seems ecstatic. Kakyoin poked the side of my still-reddened face, making me look up to him.
