Chapter 4

As me and Alexis were in the back of the cop car crying our eyes out and scared as shit the cop just kept saying:

"SHUT UP!! SHUT UP!!"

Me still being in shock and in disbelief that my dad is gone. There's no way to get him back. My entire world is just broken. While I'm in shock, my bold best friend is arguing with the cop.

"Do you think we can automatically stop crying after the tragedy we just witnessed ?!" She said

"Shut up!!" The cop said

"No!"

"You know what!?" He said as he stopped the car.

"Why are we stopping?!" She asked.

A few seconds after she said that, I suddenly looked around and seen he pulled over. I didn't know where we were and why we weren't going to the police station.

"Why are we here?!" Alexis kept asking.

"I just need to think." He said.

"Think about what? You killed an innocent black man which happens to be my best friend's father; He did nothing wrong just being respectful and was just trying to give you his license and registration...

"Shut up!" The cop said

But she continued.

" And what did you do? Oh there's a gun on top of those papers that belong to that innocent man and my life is in danger" She said in a mocking voice.

"I said shut up!!" The cop repeatedly said.

But she still continued.

"See my dad was right about you cops; You're always messing with our kind and are easily offended by us. And for what reason? See that's why I wanna be a lawyer just like my dad and defend people who are  most likely innocent and who are accused of things they didn't do by cops!"

The cop just sat there trying think.

" I'm so sorry that over here talking a lot and not comforting you enough." She said as she hugged me.

"Look at me we are going to get through this. And everything is going to be fine after we get away from this racist cop. Look I know it's going to be hard for you and your family but always remember that me and my family will always be there and have your back no matter what."

After a couple of secs I finally spoke.

" Thanks so much Lexi. I love you girl."

" I love you too girl always and forever " She responded.

After she hugged me the cop finally said:

" You guys are going to help me bury his body in the woods so no one knows about this."

" What?!!!" Alexis said.

I sat there in anger thinking how this no good of a cop could sit there and ask us to bury my own flesh and blood. My father. Pride and joy.

"Okay are you stupid or just plain ole dumb? You just asked two 7 year old girls, mind you one of the girls being that daughter of the dad you just innocently killed to help you bury his body! No!" She said.

" Listen little n*gger, you are going to.." the cop started but got interrupted by Alexis.

" Imma stop you right there. Does this look like the slavery days to you? Does it look like we're on a plantation to you? Look with all disrespect me and my best friend are not slaves. You are not our slave master. This is not the slavery times ok buddy. And also if you ever and I mean ever call me something besides my name that'll be the last time you speak." She said.

He suddenly grabbed her and started to slap her. I quickly tried to get him off of her but all he did was push me. Luckily I grabbed his gun and yelled:

" GET OFF OF HER!"

The cop quickly let her go.

" Hey now little girl be careful with that." He said

" Oh now it's little girl huh? What happened to the other name huh?!" I said

" Listen now.." he started

" No you listen. You know how much pain you have caused me? You killed my father. One of the most people that I loved!! You took his life for what?!!! And for what?!! All because of a brush on top of some papers!" I said

The cop just sat there with his hands up.

" Now tell us where we are!" Alexis demanded

" We're on the side of highway 64" He responded

" Good now You're going to drive us to the police station and turn yourself in and tell the truth." Alexis said

The cop slowly reached for something and Alexis yelled knowing something was about to happen.

" WAIT NOOOO!!"

Hey babies! I'm so sorry that it took me so long to update it was hard figuring out how to express what happened next but also I'm sorry this is a long chapter to but I didn't want the flashback to be so long that it would take five chapters.
