Chapter 8

Y/n POV

It was joe.

Welp I'm dead, what If he finds out I lied?!
*knock*
*knock*
Should I open it ? You know what yolo. I opened the door. "Hey joe....whatcha doing here" I ask awkwardly. "I just wanted to come by because you were acting weird. I wanted to see if you were okay." He says with a smile. "Oh me? I'm fineee" I say. "Are you sure?" Joe asks concerned. "Yea, anyway shouldn't you be going to the mall with Jason?" I ask trying to change the subject. "Oh yea, ahaha. I forgot , bye y/n" he says. I see red form on his cheeks as he walks away. I close the door.

Oh my gosh, did joe just blush? What if he likes me? Wait, but what about Jason?! My life is so confusing, who should I choose? I really like joe, he has always stood up for me. But Jason, he gives me butterfly's and makes me feel safe.

I woke up to the sun shinning through my blinds. My eyes squint from the sun. I then get up from my bed and my feet hit the cold wood floor. I make my way to my bathroom and take a shower. After I go to my closet and put on (outfit choice). I walk downstairs and see my mom, that's weird she is usually at work. "Hey y/n...I need to speak with you" she says. My heart rate increases, am I in trouble or something? "What is it" I ask warily. "Well you know how I work with the waud twins mom right?" She asks. Wait what- "What?! Since when??" I ask  "oh I guess I forgot to tell you. But I have to go on a business trip." She says sheepishly. "Ok? So what." I ask. "So, you will be staying with them for a month." She says. My eyes widen. "Yay... just what I want to do" I say sarcasm leaking my voice. I walk away towards my room. I land face first on my bed and think about the embarrassment up ahead.
