"Ever wondered how it is like to be an actual hated college student!?", Sunwoo yelled to his mother on the phone.
"Sweetie, calm down! We'll talk to the chancellor of your university. We got a call saying you physically hurt a student, and I just wanted to know why.", his mom replied.
"Why?! Because people hate me, mom! They actually hate me!"
"Sweetie, I understand. Even I used to get hated in college."
"No, you don't understand! You might have been teased a few times, but you've never gone through what I have! You don't understand, neither does anyone else! And you never will understand either!" Sunwoo had started crying by the time he finished his first sentence.
"Sunwoo, please...Don't cry...I wish I could be there to comfort you in person...But I promise, everything will be alright soon, Ok? You only have a few years left, so please hold on."
"Fine...." Sunwoo ended the call.
Sunwoo was constantly bullied. It had started in middle school, and continued up to college. Sunwoo hated going to school. He hated getting laughed at. He hated getting called names. And worst of all, he hated getting in physical fights. It wasn't because he didn't want to get hurt or something. It was because he would always get the blame for it. He had a bad reputation in school. Students that never teased him, or even knew who he was, had heard that he bullies people. New students were immediately informed to stay away from him. Everyone thought he was the bully.
Naturally, because of this he had no friends. Or to be exact, he had friends. But they were older than him, and they all had already gotten jobs. The two who were closest to his age, were both already 22 years old! Sunwoo didn't feel close with any of them. They were a group of six friends, and they all were kinda split into groups of two, who consisted of the two friends who were the closest. So, Jacob and Sangyeon, Younghoon and Kevin, and Chanhee and Sunwoo. While the first two groups were incredibly close, Chanhee and Sunwoo weren't close at all. They were the exact opposite of each other. Chanhee cared a lot about his reputation and his looks, while Sunwoo didn't care about any of those. That's why Chanhee became a model. He went to modeling school for a few years, and his career just went up after that. Chanhee and Sunwoo would fight a lot, and the others gave up on trying to help after a while.
Jacob and Sangyeon were the closest group out of the three groups. They always understood each other, even though they both had completely different jobs. Sangyeon was a producer, and Jacob was a simple elementary school teacher. They both had problems with their jobs, so they would constantly ask each other for help.
"Jacob...I don't think I'm a good producer...", Sangyeon would say.
"Why do you think so?", Jacob would reply.
"Because not that many people know about me...And I myself feel like a bad producer."
"Fame isn't everything. And anyways you'll get there soon. You're a great producer, and I know your dreams will be fulfilled one day."
If the conversation wasn't about Sangyeon being insecure, it would be about Jacob hating his job.
"Ugh, I absolutely hate being a teacher!", Jacob would say.
"What, why? Wasn't that always your dream job?", Sangyeon would ask.
"I just honestly don't know anymore. It was my dream job...I love teaching children, but I just feel like I'm starting to hate it. Not all kids are as sweet as an angel. Some are the devil themselves!"
"Well, you could always just apply for a new job?"
"Wish I could...But I don't have the qualifications to apply for basicallh any other job than a teacher. Amd amyways, I don't know what else to work as.."
