*Lumine's P.O.V*
As sherry walked away with Silver Aiden ruffled Kody's hair.
"D-Dad!"Kody said pulling his fathers hand away blushing, causing him to erupt in laughter,
"You're so cute!"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Arf!"
"See, even Lumine agrees!" Aiden looked at me and smiled while Kody walked back to the car grumbling,
"Haha, lets go home."
'Home. Home, I haven't heard that in a while; in my own home it didn't feel right, I always felt out of place.'
Aiden put me down and walked to the car with me in toe,
I hopped in the backseat with Kody as Aiden shut the door with a smile,
I looked at Kody with sleepy eyes he returned,
'Now that I think about it, his eyes really look beautiful in the moonlight; different shades of green with gold and black flakes at the edges, I've never seen anything more beautiful.'
Kody pulled me closer using me as a heat source starting to fall asleep, me soon joining, enjoying the warmth and closeness.
*Aiden's P.O.V*
I hopped into the car looking in the rear view, I smiled,
"Awe.." I whispered, quietly pulling off
'Lumine..'
My thoughts shifted to him and his father, they're relationship was quite toxic and closed off.
'You deserve better, everyone does.'
Getting on the belt line I put on some random songs and nodded to the beat.
