New 'Dog'

Hey, I'm sorry for all the short chapters! I'll try to make this long! sorry if you don't like long chapters, I really am! But I hope you enjoy this chapter, love you!~

*Kody's P.O.V*

I put the pup back on my lap. I'm guessing it's a boy. He licked my hand in thanks? I stroked his muzzle, as 'you're welcome'. He got comfortable as I put my hand on his back, petting once in a while.

"Wow, I thought dogs were mean and messy, you act like a cat.." I mumbled

He whined as I laughed quietly. I looked out the window and scratched the pup's ears, he leaned into the touch. A true cat

*Aiden's P.O.V*

"Wow, I thought dogs were mean and messy, you act like a cat.." said Kody

'Awe, Kody's finally making a friend! The new dog'll be so, so, so happy! I can't wait!'

I drove a little faster out of excitement, "We'll be there soon!" I cooed
"Finally."
"Did you think of a name yet?"
"Uh, no. Do you have any in mind?"
"Hmm.. Maybe "Luni", "Blu", "Lumi", "Snow". That's all I got" I snickered
"Hm.. L.. Lu.. Lumine..?" Kody looked up

"Wonderful!" I cheered

*Lumine's P.O.V*

'L.. Lu.. Lumine..?'

I tensed for a second, The man must've known something.
I sat up from the boys lap and stood to look out the window...

it looks like.. My house...

I see men shrouding my house, I think they're looking for something.
The man parked the car in front of my house.
A lady knocked on the window, the man rolled it down.
"Oh! Why hello Sherry." The man smiled
"Aiden, now's not the time." The lady I'm guessing is Sherry said

'Oh, so his name is Aiden, that's one name.'
"Heh. Kody you can wander with the pup, just don't go in the house." Aiden looked back

'So the boy's name is Kody.. I like that name.'

"OK."
Kody picked me up and opened the door, he walked a couple feet before setting me on the ground.

He started walking into the forest I followed. I looked back at my house in wonder
'Are they after papa? What'd papa do? Did they kill him? Did-'

"Lumine,"
I looked up at Kody
"Are you coming?"
My ears flattened  as I caught up with Kody.

We walked in a comfortable silence for a while Kody stoped and sat on a large rock
'Maybe he's tired, it is night..'

I got on the rock next to Kody as I heard soft snores
'I guess he is, I'll keep watch I guess.'
I straightened my posture, kept my ears perked and alert.

I heard branches snapping bushes being moved;
I got up and circled the rock Kody was on.

I try to investigate without getting too far from Kody. Now that I realize it.. We're pretty deep in the woods. I heard branches and twigs snapping; I slowly walk to the sounds ready to pounce on whoever it is.
I bare my teeth and lowered my stance my claws deeper in the ground.
I see 2 masks, a bear, and a bunny

"You think they're all the way out here?"
"Maybe, I saw them walk around this way."
"You 'saw' them come around here you're a blind man walking!"
"Eh- No I'm not!"

I heard the voices getting closer, I back up a little. I wait for them to get closer I clenched my jaw.

"You're so-"

I jumped onto the one with a bunny mask

"AHAHE-"

I went straight for the mask and ripped it off,
My jaw loosened, About to claw the guy's face,

"SHERRY HELP!"

After I'm pinned down by a weredog

'Crap I forgot about the other one..'

The weredog picked me up by my scruff, I kept thrashing around. I look to the side and see the guy holding Kody.

"Would you stop moving?!" the lady's muffled voice said

I growled but moved less

"Tch."
"Oh, Sherry you found them! How'd he do?" I look up to see Aiden smiling with his eyes closed

The lady set me down, I got in the same stance as before and started growling

"Whoa, whoa Lumine, don't worry." I'm guessing Aiden said then picked me up I scoffed
"He did OK for his small stature.." The weredog said

I looked behind the weredog to see Kody standing and rubbing his eyes

"Dad, what'd you do this time?"
"Oh nothing." Aiden said

'Was the weredog the lady who knocked on the window? They look similar.'

"Sherry you can rest now, so can you Silver."

'So it was.'

"Thanks boss.." Silver said rubbing his back

"Mhm" Sherry stood up, and walked back with Silver
