Target Thirteen

As the trio went home, Hayato was strangely quiet as they walk. Hearing Tsuna and Takeshi's voices as they walk through the quiet neighborhood.

Reborn walking beside them at a cement wall that separates per houses, he looks contemplative too. Head hung low, thinking deeply.

"Hey," Hayato started, his fingers holding his chin. "Don't you find it weird that Mukuro called Hibari by her first name?" He questioned, stopping on his tracks.

Tsuna and Takeshi looked at each other, confused. "He always does that, right? He calls me by my first name too." Tsuna answered.

"Well, yeah. But that Hibari... She called him by first name." Hayato revealed, looking at them directly.

Hibari? The two thought, always surprised at Hayato's bluntness of using the name.

Takeshi hummed, crossing his arms. "I actually noticed that too. She always calls someone by their last name before she's asked to call the other by first name." He said.

Hayato nodded at him. "That's right. If we're using Yamamoto's theory here, then does that mean Mukuro and Hibari already met?" He revealed the interesting question for the day.

A tense silence passed by them, frowning at each other. Tsuna grimaced internally. Another question to ask her if he has enough courage to ask her.

"That may be a possibility." The baby suddenly answered, now looking at the boys with an expression of seriousness.

"Do you know something, Reborn-san!?" Hayato asked, looking at him with an awe of shock.

Reborn shook his head. "I may know a lot of things but Rokudo Mukuro's past is a mystery to all, even for me. I only know a little but nothing if regarding with Hana." He reported, hands inside his pockets. "As for Hana, I only personally met her when she was 10 years old to train her because her mother couldn't." He paused.

Takeshi's expression turn cold. Remembering what Hanami told him last time. When they were eating dessert.

"My father died when I was 10. He was an informant, you see. Also a mnemonist. He can memorized long data in a short period of time. So his brain is practically a treasure chest to some." She laughed, poking the mochi.

"When he died, my mother was beyond depressed. I know she was mourning but forgetting about me for a whole year was... lonely. However, she did hire someone to "train" me."

Takeshi took interest on that. "Who was it?" He asked.

Hanami smirked at him. "Someone you know very well."

"So that was you..." Takeshi murmured, remembering the soft look on Hanami's face when she mentioned the unknown man.

Reborn nodded to him. "I looked after her for a year. When she turned 11, I left her as per request by her mother. Since then I never contacted her until last time." He ended.

"Then what that gotta do with this?" Hayato asked, a bit mad that he didn't got any information.

"When I heard Hana's mother died, I tried contacting her but only to be told to leave her alone. I tried reaching out, visiting her in Japan to see that she left. She was 14. I tried searching for her but she was practically hidden well. The only time I get to hear of her name again when three years had passed. She was 18 and took an oath to be Vongola's hitwoman. Taking place where her mother once was." Reborn told them.
