The next day, Tim woke up and did not go to work. Instead he watched TV until his mother woke up and when she did, she said "Tim, you're awake! Why?" "Mom" said Tim "Did you ask the friend about people for the crew?" "Yes" she replied "They found an honest captain and 27 good men, but they could not find a ship so you will have to take your grandfather's". "Alright, wait! What is the ship's name?" asked Tim. "I don't quite remember, but I do remember how many journeys he had been on and what happened in them. Oh! I remember! It was Ten Trips!" said his mother. "Why did he name it that?" asked Tim. "He didn't, I did" said his mother. "Why?" asked Tim. "I forgot the name your grandfather gave to this ship, so I decided to use the number of trips he failed to find treasure. There nine trips in which he failed, but the tenth one was the last one in his life" replied his mother. "Okay" said Tim. So they started packing things for Tim and at noon, they got a cab and went to the harbor. When they came, they saw 28 people standing next to the ship. They got out. "Tim, these 27 men are the crew and this man's name is Benjamin. He's the captain, but you can call him Ben. And that man is the doctor, his name is James Smith. Call him Dr. Smith. These men are Jack and Sam" said Tim's mother. "Okay" said Tim "Let's sail!" "First take your luggage" said his mother while giving him the luggage they brought. Tim got the luggage and waved goodbye to his mother while the ship was leaving. "Goodbye mum!" Tim shouted. "Goodbye Tim!" she shouted back. Now the Our Revenge was on the sea. Tim decided to ask the captain "Sir, is there any time I could talk to you?" "Of course my boy! But I will be free 30 minutes later" the captain replied "And call me Ben". Tim had a lot of time so he decided to explore the ship, it was quite dirty and old. He went to the room his mother said which was his grandfather's. While he was in there, he heard a voice "What are you doing here?" He quickly stood up and looked behind him. There stood another boy. The boy looked at him and said "My name is John. I'm 18 years old. You?" "I'm 19 years old and my name Timothy but call me Tim. I'm used to it" replied Tim. "Oh, nice to meet you Tim" said John. "Nice to meet you too" Tim said happily. "So you are looking at this room? Why? It's so dirty!" said John. "Well, this was my grandfather's ship and this was his room. I was about to try and clean it so that it looks better than before" replied Tim. "That's a good idea. I'll try and help you" said John. "Thanks" said Tim. They spent 30 minutes cleaning and decorating the room. Tim looked at the time and said "Oh no! I have to meet the captain!" shouted Tim. "What are you waiting for? GO! GO! GO!" shouted John. Tim ran out the room. He went to the deck and saw the captain waiting for him. "Hello my boy, what's your name?" Ben asked nicely. "Timothy. Call me Tim" replied Tim. "Well Tim, you have a nice ship here. I love it, but I heard that it was your grandfather's. Am I right?" said Ben. "Thank you and yes. It was my grandfather's. He was a successful pirate" said Tim. Then ben politely asked "May I ask, how he died?" "Well, he was killed by a person who he trusted" Tim replied. "I'm sorry for your loss" said Ben. They talked for a while, Tim saw that Ben was a nice and honest man. He trusted him. After talking a lot, Ben said "You have a map, may I see it?" "Of course!" Tim replied and showed him the map. "So" said the captain "We can identify the island because there are tree hills on it and there are two smaller islands near it". "Yes" Tim said happily. "Good" said Ben "You can leave now". Tim went to John and told him everything. "That's great to hear! By the way, I thought I'd finish decorating the room" said John. Tim looked at the room and it was way better than before. "Wow! It's amazing! Thank you so much for doing this" said Tim. "Anytime" said John "Do you know when we're going to find the island?" "No" replied Tim "Not really". "Okay" said John "How about you sleep in this room since it was your grandfather's". "Thanks" Said Tim. It was getting dark so John left and Tim slept. Waiting for another day to begin.
