Timlooked everywhere but still didn't find John. He went on the deck and saw Johntalking to 10 other men including Henry. Tim hid in the apple barrel withoutbeing seen. He heard John's voice saying "Tim has a map, we can kill him and takethe map or we can convince him into giving the map to us". "What about thecaptain?" asked one of the men "Will he kill us?" "We'll kill him if he tries"said John "It'll be fun. Besides, I have always wanted to kill someone. Tim didpay a lot of money to get for this trip. But for us, this trip is going to beworth his life". "Boss, why do you want the treasure anyway?" asked one of themen. "So I can finally find the treasure my grandfather wanted to find. He diedtrying to find it" replied John. "Will you even give it to us?" asked one ofthe men. "Of course!" said John "But I will get 75% or even 90% of thetreasure! I could do much with that money". Tim thought John just wanted thetreasure. There was a noise. John walked near the medicine crate but sawnothing so he continued his speech but Tim wanted to leave. So he was ready,but didn't tell anyone. 2 hours later, John went to Tim and said "Hey Tim, areyou okay? You look worried". "You look worried yourself and I've never beenbetter" replied Tim. After a few hours of talking, a man named Joe came andsaid "Tim, the captain has awoken and he wants to meet you in the cabin". Timwas delighted when he heard about the captain waking up again. He ran to thecabin. The captain was sitting on a chair. When he saw Tim come in, he said"Good, you are here". "May I ask, why am I here?" "I wanted to tell you that.......We have to find that treasure quick!" said the captain. "Why?" Tim asked."After that storm, I think that was a sign of danger. We lost 10 men. I don'twant to lose more" said Captain Ben. "You are right" said Tim "But I havesomething to tell you". "What?" said Captain Ben. Tim told the captaineverything about John. "Do you still trust him?" asked the captain. "I do, Ithink he just wants the treasure. I'll convince him" said Tim. "Okay" said Ben.While Tim was going to John, a man named Robert, came towards him. He said "Hi,my name is Robert. Call me Bob. Anyway, I've heard that the captain is a closefriends of yours". "Yes" said Tim "Why did you ask?" "Oh, because I don't talkto him often. I wanted to know about him" said Bob. "Well, he's a good man. Hetries to do good for everybody" said Tim. "That's good" said Bob. Tim and Bobtalked for a while. Then Tim said goodbye to Bob and went to his room. Hewanted to sleep after a big day of listening to John's secrets, telling that tothe captain and making a new friend. He slept peacefully but woke up 1 hourlater because he was scared of what to do and what could happen because of it."If I kill John, I'll have nothing to worry about. But Captain Ben would thinkI'm a murderer! If I tell everyone, John will try to kill me! But I could savemany lives. What do I do?!?" thought Tim. he thought he heard someone coming inhis room.
