"it's good to be home" Jin said closing the door and putting his bag on the table.
"yeah sure is" Tae said sounding tired.
"let's go to bed Taehyungie" Jin said and kissed his boyfriend in the forehead.
Jin had a shower while Taehyung sat on their bed, catching up on some social media.
Taehyung felt a little sick from traveling. He got up from the bed to go to the bathroom but he fainted and fell down beside the bed.
Jin walked out the bathroom and saw Taehyung on the floor unconscious.
"Taehyung?!" he said nudging Taehyung, but he never moved.
"Tae?! Taehyung please are you okay??" Jin said his voice full of panic.
Taehyung's face was pale and he was just limp on the ground.
Jin got up quickly and dialed the ambulance, the ambulance arrived within 3 minutes.
"What happened sir?" one of the paramedics asked.
"I don't know, I was in the shower and I walked out and saw him lying on the ground... Unconscious." Jin said, his eyes welling up with tears.
The two men carried Taehyung into the ambulance and Jin got in too and held Tae's hand. He never let go, until they arrived. The men took Taehyung into the emergency room
Jin waited for awhile.. He couldn't handle not knowing what was wrong with Taehyung.
Jin called Namjoon to come to the hospital, keep him company.
Namjoon burst through the doors and immediately ran over to Jin and gave him a huge hug.
"Jinnie, it's okay." Namjoon said trying to calm Jin down.
Jin had a huge lump in his throat from crying and couldn't utter a word out, he just held onto Namjoon, hoping this was all a dream.
The doctor came through and gestured a hand calling Jin over.
Jin looked down at the ground, trying not to cry again.
"Jin.." the doctor began.
"well Jin we do not know what is wrong with your boyfriend yet. He was not dehydrated or anything of the sort. The nurses are running more tests." the doctor took a deep breathe and waited for Jin to respond.
"so you don't.. Know what's wrong with him.." Jin said his eyes tearing up again. Jin held his chest and breathed deeply.
A nurse came up to the doctor and whispered something in his ear. The doctors slight reassuring smile went away immediately.
"What is it?" Jin said trying to read the doctors face.
"I'm so sorry Jin.." the doctor paused.
"tell me what's wrong with him!" Jin shouted and his tears finally pouring down his cheeks.
It was silent for a moment before the doctor spoke again.
"he has cancer"
Jin's face dropped. The colour from his face vanished, leaving his face white and pale.
"wha- what." Jin stuttered out. His heart hurting everytime he tried to talk. Jin's tears never ending.
"I'm sorry Jin." the doctor said, genuinely.
Jin feel to the ground on his knees. He was numb all over.
Namjoon came running and tried to help Jin up but Jin just pushed him away.
"no! No he can't-" Jin said covering his eyes and getting up slowly off the ground.
Jin and Namjoon were left in the waiting room for more results.
Jin watched the clock, each time the clock hands moved, a tear fell down his face.
Jin hadn't said anything for a whole hour. But then he spoke, namjoon pricked up and looked at Jin.
"why him..." Jin said shaking his head, pausing for a moment.
"why couldn't it be me.."
