Through the Forest (A KOTLC Taphie Story)

Chapter 1-Introduction

THIRD PERSON P.O.V.

The group finished off the Neverseen 5 years ago, and haven't seen each other or talked that much in 3 years. They all still live with their parents, but also have jobs. Sophie spent most of her time at Havenfeild, or working at the Sanctuary. Fitz became and Emissianary, and was usually off on highly classified assignments. Biana opened a boutique in Atlantis. Linh and Tam now live in an apartment called Shellsoar, and both work as part of the Black Swan. Keefe is now an artist, and is on much better terms with his father. Dex works with his Dad in slurps and burps, and continues to work with Tinker on occasion. As for Marella, she mentors at Foxfire. The Pyrokinisis ban was taken down, because everyone realised what could happen when they didn't get proper training. They are all living their normal lives. Most of them cut social ties. 

SOPHIE P.O.V.

"Mom! I'm heading out to Atlantis!" I called down the stairs.

"Alright! Be home before dinner! We will be gone for 2 months, we want to spend time with you!" Edaline called back.

"Okay! BYE!" I called, not waiting for a response as I called the crystal to Atlantis. When I got to the entrance, I got a whirlpool and jumped in. I got off the sponge and set off looking for a dress shop. I see a sign that says VACKER BOUTIQUE, with little writing underneath saying, Sparkles Make Everything Better, and realise that it's Biana's shop I'm looking at. I decide to check it out. Plus, maybe I'll run into Biana. I haven't talked to her or seen her in 3 years. Or anyone for that matter. I open the door only to find the most amount of sparkles and dresses ever. I start looking for a dress when someone taps my shoulder. I turn around and immediately recognise who it is. 

"Tam?" I ask, really puzzled. 

"I knew I recognised that blonde hair from somewhere." He replied with a grin that made my heart flutter. 

Wait.

Tam made my heart flutter. That's....unusual. 

"What are you doing in Atlantis?" I change the subject.

"Well, Linh just got accepted for this assignment for the Black Swan that was really important to her, so I decided to get her a gift, and this seemed promising. What about you?" He explained.

"Well, I have a meeting with the Council about my, um, Unmatchable status. I came to buy a dress. Since we're both here, why don't I help you. Then maybe we can get something to eat." I suggested.

"Sure." We continued looking at different dresses and hairpins and all sorts of things. Eventually, I settled on a short dress that had a white folded top, a light blue tulle skirt, and a black ribbon belt with a bow. 

For Linh, Tam ended up getting a dress as well. The dress was a dark red colour and ended just above the knees.  It was 3/4 length sleeves and had a lace pattern, along with a black belt.
